The new ATR aircraft are very comfortable. PNG Air seems to be able to get away on time for most flights which is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. I will fly with them more often.

Simple story, really. We were booked to fly from Tari to Port Moresby on the return leg of our journey to PNG. The flight simply didn't turn up. As a result we missed 3 connections and lost 3 days of our holiday, plus substantial costs which may or may not be insured. Apparently this is a common occurrence with PNG....

These guys wouldn't qualify to run a raffle let alone an airline. They don't believe in schedules, they make it up as they go and swap flight numbers and schedules on the run to make up for the fact that they have a break down or flight crew don't show up and its a daily occurrence. Have missed international connections...

Wednesday, November 8th 2017 - We had travelled from Sydney to Port Moresby earlier that day and it was our expectation to be in Tufi later that afternoon all going well. PNG Air is the only commercial airline that goes to Tufi unless of course you charter a private aircraft and that would cost plenty. We were at POM domestic...

I have not yet flown with PNG Air as they cancelled our flight. It took 3+ hours to get replacement tickets issued for 2 days later and a voucher for 1 nights accommodation- even though we needed 2. The battle continues. Hopefully when our flight eventually occurs all will be well.

It takes a very special airline to make Air Niugini look good but PNG Air is up for the challenge! I wouldn't normally fly them due to their lower safety rating from our advisors but sometimes they have better schedules than Air Niugini. If they keep to them. We got a text at 6am saying our flight was moved from...

When flying within Papua New Guinea, I prefer PNG Air than Air Niugini. As it flies to regional areas in small aircraft, the queues at the checking counter are a lot shorter than the queues for Air Niugini.

I booked a flight from pt. Moresby to Garoka, and was told after the booking that flight was unavailable. I booked another. Same thing. Third try worked. The flights are listed but when you try to confirm there is no response. Then notified the flight was unavailable. I was charged twice and told it would be refunded on next billing...

Travelling within Papua New Guinea is not so easy. Flying between the bigger cities is always worth to consider. Port Moresby, the captial is only reachable via aircraft. No roads are connecting POM with the rest of PNG. While most expads are using Air Niguini, PNG Air is always a good alternative. The flights are cheaper, the new ATR 72...
