I had a connecting flight originating in Recife but my connection in Manaus to get back to Lethem was delayed. This meant that I would miss the flight from Lethem to Georgetown, which happened to be the last flight of the day. The Azul Airline representative attempted to call TGA at the phone number listed on the passenger and baggage...

Very professional, prompt, and friendly. It is a very nice ride, and if the weather is clear, the pilot circled the falls so that both sides of the plane could view kaieteur falls from the air.

Actually they depart from Zorg en Hoop Airport, closer to the city of Paramaribo than the main international airport. Service with this airline is spotless. Nice, clean planes, reliable pilots, very good service. I had e-mail-contact before I went - again very friendly, very reliable. About Trans Guyana
Founded in 1951, Trans Guyana operates flights to more than 20 destinations in Guyana and Suriname. It is based at Georgetown’s Eugene F. Correira International Airport (OGL), previously known as Ogle International Airport. Destinations within Guyana include several points in Barima-Waini (Region One), Cuyuni-Mazaruni (Region Seven), Potaro-Siparuni (Region Eight) and Upper Takutu-Upper Esequibo (Region Nine). Trans Guyana has a fleet of nine planes: Six Cessna 208B Grand Caravans, one Britten Norman BN-2A-27 Islander and Beechcraft 1900D aircraft.
