A few hours after take off from Lima we had to land in Manaus, Brazil due to technical fault at the airplane, the flight then was cancelled. we were accomodated on cheap local hotels! everything was messy but in the end we took off to Madrid with another carrier called Euroatlantic! the plus ultra plane is an old a340, everything...

This was a flight booked through SATA/Azores Airlines. It seems they hire out certain flights to PlusUltra. We could charitably call the AirBus A340 aircraft vintage. Clearly the flight control systems, engines, and nav systems worked perfectly. Many light bulbs, one bathroom, and the electronic information screens on the seat backs did not. The crew were certainly pleasant and worked...

This was a SATA Internacional/Azores Airlines flight operated on there behalf by Plus Ultra. Aircraft was an A340-300. The aircraft was decently clean, and the crew outfits were fit for a Paris Runway model. Everything else sadly was a disappointment. Every seat had IFE but non worked. Not even for the safety demo. The Azores Airlines head rest covers were...

We booked our flights with Sata Azores Airlines through a reputable Portuguese Travel Agency and the plane presented to us was ULTRA PLUS. This is a Spanish plane where the staff did not speak Portuguese and limited English. We had no idea. The flight from Toronto to the Azores was questionable and this should have been a red flag from...

The aircraft are old and the entertainment systems reflect that as they do not function on many seats - not the thing you want on a 12hr flight. The cabin service is of low quality and the meals are very basic (you get what you pay for). The worrying thing is as we approached Lima descending over the Andes the...

(NB. I have not flown on this airline, therefore most of my marks are faked. This was necessary in order to submit the following information:) Dan G does not have to sue this company (in a court or something like that). I understand it's Spanish. Therefore EU Regulation 261/2004 is in force (in this case: an EU airline flying from...

This plane is the worst. Every review is on the ball. No working TVs,broken food trays, head rests falling off, water was slim pickings, rude staff, duck tape patch jobs all over. Will never fly with this airline again. We didn't even know ahead we were flying on this airline,we were expecting SATA!

Worst airline I have ever flown with and I have traveled a lot. First of all realize that when you book online with Azores Airlines/Sata you are not going to be flying with them, they subcontract their flights out to a Spanish company called 'Plus Ultra'. That should be inform passengers when booking that is 'Plus Ultra' that will be...

I flew SATA 4 years ago and had a horrible experience and nothing has changed in 4 years! Everyone who I have spoken with is severely disappointed with this airline. The sad part is they are a monopoly and they DO NOT CARE! Highlights from our disastrous air travel.... Plane was changed to PlusUltra airlines - plane was old, outdated,...
