Worst airline I have ever flown with and I have traveled a lot. First of all realize that when you book online with Azores Airlines/Sata you are not going to be flying with them, they subcontract their flights out to a Spanish company called 'Plus Ultra'. That should be inform passengers when booking that is 'Plus Ultra' that will be...

I flew SATA 4 years ago and had a horrible experience and nothing has changed in 4 years! Everyone who I have spoken with is severely disappointed with this airline. The sad part is they are a monopoly and they DO NOT CARE! Highlights from our disastrous air travel.... Plane was changed to PlusUltra airlines - plane was old, outdated,...

We arrived at Lima airport 3 hours early as requested via email. When arriving at the airport we were told the flight was cancelled. We told them we needed to get to Madrid and did not want to be stuck in Peru! Their response was literally "not our problem". Worst customer service ever. We had to then pay thousands extra...

Bad plane bad service terrible experience. We booked Azores Airlines and ended up experiencing a flight from hell on an airline we did not book. Discourteous crew and a plane that felt it was patched with duct tape...

The crew members are very rude. The service on board is terrible. We flew from Montreal to ponta delgada and when they announced the route the crew member had no idea where we were flying to. It’s a real joke! I asked for a tea on board and requested a blanket they tell you yes and never brought it One...

I would consider myself an experienced flyer and I've never been afraid to fly until I boarded this plane. This plane is from a different century and its evident. I booked with azores airlines and I guess they rent planes from Ultra Plus. There were ashtrays in the seat which were filled with trash (when was the last time you...

Sata used a Spanish Airline and crew from Toronto to Ponta Del Gada. As Stephanie said, we were fearful that we’d crash!! Sata completely compromised all our safety in using this very old unsafe plane!! I opened up my safety pamphlet only to find remnants of a past passengers vomit! My seat stayed in recline, the cabin lights were shorting...

The plane was delayed by weather. We ran out of food and water. Sitting in Montreal for hours waiting for fuel. They tried to stop us from using the bathroom. Never, ever, fly plus ultra. This is the worst flight and service I have ever had in 11 years of flying all over the world.

I flew from Caracas to Madrid, the boarding was on time. In flight food was very good, excellent service. Isles are narrow but lots of storage overhead. They allowed 3 luggage. Excellent option for a reasonable price..

I was supposed to fly from Toronto to Ponta Delgada on an Azores Airlines flight. I found out the day of that Azores Airlines had to rent aircrafts from Plus Ultra. My flight was nearly 5 hours delayed (the same amount of time it takes to get to Ponta Delgada). To make matters worse 4 out of the 5 hours...
