Took the early morning Simrik Air mountain flight, don't bother. Very old Beechcraft 1900D aircraft. The windows were so badly scratched and dirty that it was almost impossible to see anything let alone photograph anything. You could visit the flight deck and kneel in between the pilots for a view upfront. This was only for 2-4 minutes though. One of...

This basic airline runs small planes (less than 20 seats) in Nepal. The single row of seats along each side of the plane are adequate for these short runs. My two flights (Kathmandu to Pokhara and return) took about 30 minutes each and ran on time. The plane looked old, based on the condition of the cabin, but it flew...

This small private jet flight over the Himalayas is worth a trip. Flights are old but the visual treat to view all big fellas from Mt Everest, Lotche and the rest were awesome. That's an hour flight starting at 6am from Kathmandu and back

Avoid this company. We booked an Everest flight through an agent - I had to put Pokhara, this site wouldn't accept Everest nor Kathmandu as a round trip. He told us Simrik were a new company offering a discount. First day, flight was cancelled due to weather. Told to come back next day at 7. Arrived there at 6:30 following...

Have had the unfortunate experience of flying twice with this airline. Always late and without explanation. Other carriers seem to be far more reliable, like Yetti and Buddha. They delay and cancel flights due to lack of customers and don't seem to realise that it is because Of Thier Business practices that this is why they a lagging behind the...

The service was okay but on the way back to Kathmandu it was delayed without any explanation. We just needed to wait for almost two hours. The Pokhara airport was closed already and we were the last passengers taken. When you take this flight, make sure you have enough buffer time for whatever plan you have ahead.

Fast and efficient. My wife had come down with AMS and was totally debilitated. We had tried to walk her to lower altitude but she had collapsed – we had to call in the rescue chopper to a remote landing site just below Pheriche, at a place called Worshyo. They were there within 40 minutes, and loaded my wife and...

Had to book a helicopter service at short notice when our KTM - LUA flights were cancelled 2 days in a row. The service was fast, efficient and excellent, but they really took advantage of our bad luck by charging 420 USD pp one way, which is almost double the usual price. It was worth it to not cancel our...

They offer flights 3 times a day between Kathmandu and Pokhara, but in reality they fly only once a day. So if you book a flight at 10 am (from Pokhara to Kathmandu), it will be delayed until 3pm. But in our case, the plane only arrived at 5pm in Pokhara and the departure was eventually delayed until the next...
