As my fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookie cools in front of me after a nice hot meal and a bottomless glass of wine, I’m reminded that First Air offers travelers an experience that is a cut above. We are all in business class. Babies, workers, moms, dads, elders and executives are equally pampered. My “special coffee” arrives with whipped cream on...

while we had a huge departure delay (another plane was on the runway with a busted tired and couldn't be moved), the plane was a pleasant surprise. Very nice crew although the snack offer late in the evening wasn't exactly what we were looking for. But the whole thing wasn't their fault. Overall I would recommend this airline

We had 2 flights in the Arctic with First Air as part of our holiday and I can say I have never met such cheerful and happy crew on any flight, ever. It just made the whole experience more pleasant, great teamwork and well done!

We had a great trip up to Nunavut from Ottawa in April 2018 and then back in May 2018. Everything about this airline is great. They provide good food and the crew was very helpful and friendly. There aren't a lot of options for flying that far north but First Air is great. We have traveled with them before and...

With Arctic travel, weather is the #1 boss. Our flight out of Resolute Bay was initially delayed by fog, then cancelled. They tried it again the next day, but this time the weather in Resolute was good enough to go, after they de-iced the plane, and this was mid-August! The flight was supposed to land in Arctic Bay, but the...

Despite the pouring rain, our flight left Iqaluit on time. After take-off, our very friendly flight attendant served hot beverages and cookies, which is the extent of the on-board service on this particular flight. First Air does serve a good selection of excellent Inuit teas which we enjoyed and recommend you try - thanks First Air to introducing us to...

This was my first time flying with First Air, one of a handful of airliner that flies long distance in the northern parts of Canada. This flight did not have business class, however, everyone got provided with the same amenities. Every passenger received a meal (hot choice between pasta or beef), complimentary wine (house red/white) and a "special" coffee (coffee...

Really enjoyed my flight with First Air -- The landing was smooth. The staff is very friendly, and they serve an inflight meal. I expected the worst flying to a northern destination -- being that the Winnipeg landing (on a different airline) was rough.

Courteous staff. I am a little nervous about fliying but this flight was okay and the pilot was very good at informing us about what to expect during the flight. Kudos they landed when it was foggy in Iqaluit. Excellent equipment planes have. Food was okay.

Friendly service, in flight hot meal and free non-alcoholic drinks all nice. However passengers are packed in as tightly as sea lice on a fresh walrus head and anyone over 6 feet should do their best to get an exit row seat or fly the other airline. Seat lumbar support nonexistent and one struggles to stay seated upright. The most...
