The flight down to Jamaica was fine but the return was delayed 2X. First no crew so we had to wait for them to show up BUT after we boarded. Then with that delay they lost there place in the flight plan to FLL and we had to circle on tarmac and get in new line. The delay was 1...

I booked with Caribbean Airlines R/T nonstop from JFK to Port of Spain. I honestly don't know what possessed me to book with them. As with many of my travel decisions, I must have consulted TripAdvisor and saw that the reviews weren't that bad. If only I knew better. 1) The planes are RAGGED. They are recycled from 1980's. The...

I'm embarrassed to say we didn't expect much from this airline that we hadn't heard of before and just hoped it would be a safe flight. However, they exceeded our expectations and we will use them as often as we can when traveling to the Caribbean. The flight was on time, smooth. The seats were comfortable with good leg room...

We were not expecting much from this airline - it was an affordable ticket during the christmas holidays, to Grenada, and we were willing to accept any inconveniences for the affordability. We were actually pleasantly surprised. The flight was scheduled to depart on time, and yet on the tarmac, we were told we would be in a line up for...

Caribbean Airlines remain a shoddy later day version of BWIA, without BWee's charm. Unhelpful and unwilling staff whose employment seems to have been based upon non-business reasons. Flight Delays and the reasons thereof seems to be top-secrets, not to be told to passengers until the last minute or afterwards, (after the scheduled departure time has elapsed).

The Port of Spain to Tobago operation is run like a shuttle with frequent flights that take under 30 minutes between the two airports. Check in is online or at the airport with bag drop if you check in online. They are fairly strict on luggage in the hold, however they let me off the three kilos I was over...

You get 3 checked bags per person with each business class ticket. If you've ever been to Sandals, then you know the extra room for all the liquor you can win or get in your room, you can bring home. So having the extra bag allows you to spread out the wait. That and the airline treats you like first...

The staff was friendly at check in. My family and I were upgraded to Caribbean plus as we were a family of 5 with young children and the flight was light. My main complaint was the poor water service as we only got served drinks once during the 4hr flight and nothing else. Having the ability to have one piece...

After recognizing the recent trend of numerous complaints from frustrated individuals and organizations regarding their dissatisfactions with Caribbean Airlines service based in Trinidad and Tobago, I found myself in the unfortunate situation to have encountered the same experience. While understanding the long-standing policy of checking in two hours prior to flight departures, many of us never wish to break that...
