When I checked in for EI3283 at Bristol Airport, I have specifically asked the light hair counter male staff (there are only two counter staff at the time, the other was a dark hair guy) whether I should claim my VAT here or in Dublin, he told me I should do it over there as they will give me cash...

I've flown AL many times. This one was no different. The boarding process was smooth and effortless. The onboard staff was fantastic. Kind, helpful and cheerful...often not the case on a long flight. They were attentive and provided great service. The in-flight meals were actually palatable and the tea was hot and delicious.

This was a nice flight. The aircraft was very clean and modern. The flight attendants were kind and attentive. The flight was non stop, 10 and a half hours going over which is short for flying to Europe. We were given numerous beverages, a decent evening meal of Irish beef stew (there was another choice) with sides of salad, roll...

I was charged for my original booking. Because of a delay in our connecting flight I had to change flight to later in the day. I was charged again at a much higher price for the change. In spite of a booking note indicating that this price was not in addition to what I originally paid they charged me for...

We flew round trip from Dulles to Dublin so I'll include both ways. The check in at Dulles was quick and efficient. The only confusing part of the experience was that they are located with another airline and it wasn't clear which line was actually theirs. Once we figured it out...all went quickly. If you have long legs, get an...

We were delayed getting to Miami airport on Sunday 17th June for our return flight to Dublin. However, when we did arrive in the terminal we found that Aer Lingus had closed the Check-In desk early (over an hour and 5 minutes before scheduled take off) and we were left stranded. I had booked Business Class for the return flight...

DAA longterm parking no problems although quite full. Boarding pass queue about 3 mins. Security queue about 15 mins- quite efficient but some people could be more prepared as in having the gels liquids belts watches ready for the tray rather than searching the bags at the x-ray conveyer. Boarding was efficient. The service was good on board and the...

After a river cruise in the Rhine, it was time to go home. An earlier start than everyone else on the boat. However, it was time to go. Booking in was efficent and easy. The gate we were allocated was really like a cattle market. Three flights going out within a few minutes one to Birmingham, Turkey and Dublin meant...

I’ve always enjoyed using Aer Lingus instead of ryanair. Thier website is easier to use, you can print out boaring cards at the airport, and they fly into proper airports; though the semi-abandoned WW1 aerodromes used by ryanair can be quite nice and convenient. This flight was in a turboprop plane was which great fun and certainly not as scary...
