Air Botswana was the only way I could enter Botswana since Qatar Airways has an arrangement with them. Being a person who's only travelled in jets, flying to Gaborone on a turbo prop was an experience, albeit never to be repeated 😏. We ( 4 adults) travelled to Jhb on 14/07/18 on Air Botswana(AB) Arrived 2 hrs before check in. Check in was smooth. The lady at the counter was friendly. After clearing customs we waited in the departure lounge. As the time for boarding neared we were told that there would be a delay because of a technical issue. There was...

We left on time in Gaborone and arrived in Kasane after the prescribed time of just short of two hours. Very little service on board, a hand full of Biltong, small bag of Salty stuff, cool drink and water. Plane is high Wing ATR 72-500 (French), which has for sure done some good working (Toilet door could not be locked,...

It is the best , no frills way, to travel from Gaborone to Francistown. One hour in reasonable comfort on the plane compares to 5 hours hard driving by road. The light breakfast and coffee was fresh and delicious. As the fare is also reasonable, these flights are always full. I have travelled on this flight over 140 times, and...
