We flew economy plus and the Boeing 777 was a dream. Configured 2-5-2 with large spacious seats we had a lot of room vs. economy. The food was good, large screen entertainment, chargers for phone and IPad.

Seats are uncomfortable, the turbulence was terribile both there and back. Whilst this is not the fault of the airline the bigger planes handle it better and the pilots should fly above or below it. Have flown this route many times with other airlines and never had the same experience

Very basic service and without personal touch from the crew. Limited choice of movies or other screen offers. Ticket price is an advantage

I have travelled to China almost once a year for the past decade, more frequently now married to a Chinese wife, and a young daughter. My first experience with Air China around 10 years ago, they operated a 747 Combi. The plane having a split Cargo and Passenger cabin. I think they still had movies shown on the overhead screens...

Very very poor experience. Staff on the plane were cold and grumpy. Very uncomfortable seats, definitely no the best entertainment for a long haul flight. Food was the most disgusting I have ever had on a plane. The flight assistant poured the wine in the coffee cup. On the 5.15 h flight from Beijing to Bangkok no entertainment at all....

I usually avoid flying US-based carriers (because of bad service) and was unpleasantly surprised to find that Air China is strong competition on that front :( Starting with service, I had a checked-in bag weighing 14 kg (limit 15 kg) and a carry on weighing 8 kg (limit 7 kg). The woman at the check-in counter forced me to transfer...

On both legs I flew a 777-300, which is a relatively new smooth aircraft. The flight over had extra space, which made the 15 hour experience more bearable. The flight back was packed and was less pleasant. Food was average. Flight attendants were also average. The cost was great compared to other airlines. I realize with Economy I’m getting a...

I read some bad reviews, but my experience was great. The food was what you would expect on any airline service, and plentiful at that. The selection of movies, tv shows, games, and music was extensive with plenty of international options. The staff was courteous and professional. I had two over-night layovers in Beijing and the airline provided me with...

Everything was good . The ground service was very quick and uneventful. The craft large enough, very clean, the stuff helpful and polite. My request for special meals was executed absolutely. Only the entertainment device was old fashioned and poor in options. The food was good. Moreover, the seat was extremely comfortable with enough space for the legs. It was...
