The staff were lovely and helpful. Towards the end of the flight you are offered free sweets, which is nice. Better than normal plane food.

Just booked a complicated family trip to Canada / USA with the assistance of Linda at Air New Zealand. She was fantastic - took time to not only get us to the right places at the right times, but also at the best price. Thanks Linda!!

Air New Zealand management should be called the Flip Flop Department. They say 'seating allocations cannot change after a boarding pass has been printed except for load balancing or safety requirements' Well when I boarded (and was first to board) with boarding pass for seat 3C I had a Goldie Locks sitting in my chair', some how she had managed...

We booked a travel package through Air NZ, going from Los Angeles to Auckland, and then 4 domestic flights within New Zealand, and finally, returning back to Los Angeles from Auckland. The initial flight out of LA was delayed on the tarmac 1 hour. The domestic flight from Auckland to Rotorua was cancelled due to engineering issues, and the return...

I flew to NZ on a United flight and back on Air New Zealand. Air NZ was definitely the more comfortable, except that on United I was able to upgrade to "premium economy" for $200 US which gave me a bit more legroom. However, Air NZ has better seats and amenities and I enjoyed the entertainment options more. The service...

We flew Air Canada from YYZ to YVR and thereafter on Air NZ to Auckland and then Adelaide. Premium Economy is basically Business Class and well worth it for such a long flight (14 hrs from Vancouver to Auckland). The service was outstanding, the staff friendly, the food tasty, the pillows comfy...even the inflight safety video is fun. We are...

Quite disapointing experience in comparison with Qatar Airways, Emirates or Lufthansa economy class. The staff was professional but rather unfriendly sometimes trying not to see the passengers. The offer of free entertiment onboard was very limited. Fortunately it was only a 3 something flight.

What a contrast to Qantas; adequate leg room, edible food with a choice of muesli and fruit available for breakfast. The plane was clean and modern looking and the staff were friendly and polite. I would certainly fly with Air New Zealand again whenever the option is available and can recommend this flight and the return flight back to Sydney.
