This time, I flew Alaska's "elite" class (the first few rows in coach) and was happy to discover the extra legroom. there was ample room to have my tray down in front of me, I had plenty of room for my knees and feet, and their was actually space for the window seat traveler to get passed without needing me...

I am hoping that this review is helpful to any reader. We have had 2 months of snow on the ground (Dec 6 until Feb 16) and we decided" let's get out of here for a week" and booked a flight. We used our Alaska Air Visa credit card perk of a companion fare for $99. After taxes and extra...

This was my first time flying Alaska Airlines and I will have to say that was impressed by my leg of the flight. Check-In: I did electronic check in which was breeze. Gate: The gate was a good size and we were able to line up for boarding no problem. The information was easy to read and to know the...

I think I measured about 16 inches from shoulder to shoulder. I had a window seat at the back ( 33 F ) . Not even enough room to reach for my book or my bag or anything. Seats were just barely comfortable. I find leather to be harder and less comfortable than fabric. I really noticed the tight space...

I have years under my belt both as a business traveler and as an airport worker. I've pretty much "seen it all or have been through it!" So I'm not surprised to see some low rated reviews. But what I can say, is that service does vary from airline to airline. More correctly though, is that service can vary from...

With nonstop routes meeting our needs, we continually choose Alaska. But, if they want to keep us loyal to the airlines they need to up their game. We purchase full price 1st Class tickets, and as a result expect a full range of service that extends beyond those offered inflight. On our recent departure from San Francisco, we were surprised...

Alaska Air is - Fabulous! They tip the plane over Glaciers, and name them - have the pics. Land softly. On the return - there have been several, but the one I remember best - on a Wide Body ? - that had just Cartwheeled over Omaha, Neb. - it was a Red-Eye special - not many on board, heading...

Alaska continues to be my preferred airlines for a multiple of reasons including their easy to navigate website, personnel that provide that human touch of sincerely wanting to make this flight as easy on you as possible, the guarantee that your luggage will arrive within 20 minutes of flight arrival and even the safety factor of not landing in your...

Flight home from Portland to Kansas City was cancelled due to inclement weather, when the weather was actually quite pleasant. I had landed in Portland an hour and a half prior to my scheduled departure time. I also watched several flights leave Portland during and after my flight was supposed to leave. The reason the flight was cancelled was due...

Caught an early morning flight to and overnight flight back, regardless of the time of day the staff showed professionalism and respect to passengers. Would pay additional fare over competitors if necessary for quality of service.

As the name implies, it's a major carrier in the state of Alaska, flying to about 20 large and small destinations throughout the state.
