I had high expectations for Alitalia and was very disappointed. The seats were so close together and very uncomfortable. My plane had a 2-4-2 setup and the middle seats of 4 had electrical boxes under the seat so you could barely stretch you legs. The flight attendants were also very rude and the in-flight meals were horrible.

Several months in advance, booked a DIRECT FLIGHT from Catania to Naples (a 1.5hour flight), only to arrive at the airport to be told that they don't have those flights anymore. Thankfully, the Alitalia lady at the desk was able to get us on a flight via Rome, (Fiumicino) resulting in a 3 hour transit time. Overall a very good...

I have flown to Milan several times, and I mostly took a direct flight, but Alitalia offers the one through Rome. Though the airport in Rome is not very convinient for changing flights, but what I like is that the flight is not crowded with Milan shoppers and the service in general is quite pleasant.

I booked a trip on Alitalia non-stop to Rome to go to the Amalfi Coast for August 2018. We booked the trip November 2017. My wife discovered she was pregnant in January of 2018. It was going to be our baby moon but she gave birth 3 months early at 26 weeks. My baby daughter will be in the Neonatal...

The food terrible, dried out, overheated. Stuff were friendly but noisy. Seats very uncomfortable, the blanks stank although the were sealed, definitely not washed, no ear plugs, eye mask. The earphones were almost useless very bad quality of sound and movies outdated. The only was the price and the short layover.

Plane was dirty. Crumbs all over the floor and it was just a mid morning flight. The seat before us, even before it declined, was right against our knees and we are small, thin women. Once the man declined, we could hardly fit any more because the back of the seat was basically a few inches from our forehead. The...

Where do i start. On arrival at Heathrow over 2 hrs before the flight, we had to wait in the queue for 1h 25 min just to drop off our luggage. At some point there was only 1 desk open with 100 people waiting from 3 different flights! We had to run to the gate in order to make the...

Even if I try to avoid alitalia this was a direct flight to Boston and the cost was acceptable (900 euros round trip). Since I have traveled alitalia in the past I was not expecting much and yet they managed to disappoint me all the same. Here are some pros and cons pros: - direct flight....that is pretty much it...

It has been a good experience. I suggest to use this two airports to travel from England to Italy because are very well connected to the towns . The flight has been comfortable and the crew very Kindle and professional. I hope to take again this air company next future.
