Nevada-based Allegiant (G4) is a low-cost carrier that flies all Economy Class aircraft to about 100 destinations in 40 US states. On many routes, it only operates a couple times a week, and it typically flies to smaller, regional airports. However, Allegiant's focus cities include a mix of smaller and larger airports, including Bellingham International Airport (BLI), Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Las Vegas's McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Phoenix–Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA).

Fort Lauderdale - GreenvilleDomestic

We flew down from Greenville, SC to Fort Lauderdale for a cruise. We chose Allegiant because it was cheap. This is an example of you get what you pay for. The flight to Fort Lauderdale was fine if not incredibly comfortable. For the flight back though, they didn't have enough flight attendants so the flight was delayed 2 hours until they could find one. By that time, the weather in Greenville had gotten bad so they cancelled the flight due to weather (so no hotel reimbursements) even though we would have made it if we'd left on time. Our options were then to get a refund or rebook - for Monday if there was room - 3 days later because they only fly twice a week and they weren't going to do a make up flight sooner. We ended up renting a car and driving home. So this is the hidden risk you take with a tiny budget carrier. A big airline would have been able to get us home early the next day and probably wouldn't have had a flight attendant shortage either. I would never use again unless I was very confident of the weather holding up.

DONT FLY WITH ALLEGIANT

DONT FLY with this airline. The most unserious people been sitting here for two hours waiting for plane to move. Pay extra for whatever other airline just not Allegiant.

Cancelled a flight on 10/11/24 due to hurricane Milton. Allegiants own hotline said Sanford airport would be closed through 10/12/24. As of 1/8/25 I have still not heard from Allegiant despite multiple inquiries. I would use extreme caution before doing business with the fly by night airline.

BEWARE! Can't rely on them to get you anywhere on time or even get you there at all!

Worst airline ever. You can't count on them to get you anywhere on time, if at all. Both of our last times flying for a quick vacation trip we tried using Allegiant. First was delayed multiple times then canceled with zero options to get us where we needed to be. Second time was delayed multiple times, then delayed to the next day. Zero options given for a hotel for the night or transportation to/from hotel. Next day afternoon departure time AGAIN delayed. Bankruptcy coming in 3, 2....

Thank you Las Vegas crew!

Las Vegas - FlintDomestic

I’m writing this review to thank the Las Vegas to Flint crew. I had terrible food poisoning caused by dinner the night before and felt more sick than I had in years. I was treated with such kindness by the crew. I want to give a particular shoutout to Maria who went above and beyond to try to make me feel better. I will never forget all of your compassion. Thank you!
