The practices employed by this airline are deeply unethical and should be subject to stricter regulation. Their fee structure is predatory, and their staff, particularly at Vienna airport, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. At the gate, employees arbitrarily selected bags to weigh, creating unnecessary stress for travelers. While I witnessed oversized backpacks pass without issue, I was targeted and charged €60 for a bag that was only slightly over the weight limit.
The logic behind these charges is baffling. The bag still traveled on the plane, so the only outcome was additional profit for the airline at the expense of my convenience. To make matters worse, my bag—a new one I purchased after a previous bag was damaged in transit—was also ruined. Despite my request for it to be handled with care, they dismissed my concerns, leaving me with a damaged bag and no recourse.
The lack of respect for customers was evident across the board. Every interaction with their staff was unpleasant, marked by rudeness and apathy. Given the endless fees and poor service, flying with this airline is no cheaper than booking with a higher-quality carrier, and the experience is far worse. Reviews across various platforms confirm that this is a consistent issue.
I hope to see greater oversight and regulation for airlines in the future, as their current practices are designed to exploit passengers rather than provide a fair and reliable service. I will never fly with this airline again.
