Outbound flight HAV to CCC - Got to the airport 2h early as per request from Cuba Travel Network, even though check-in would only close 30min before departure so 1h would suffice. First one to check in so first row was assigned, extra legroom. Aircraft was an old ATR72 with South African registration and a logo slapped on. Seat was...

I read the online reviews and was willing to be open minded, but this is not even on my future radar any more. Our trip was cancelled and the only consolation was to book at a future date or a refund! I'm sure glad they offered the full refund ;)

The tragic 110 deaths last week were preventable. Our flight three weeks before was an awful experience. First delayed by 2 hours - no notification. After check-in a further 4 hours. Aircraft filthy - overhead lockers covered in grimy hand prints put there over time. Seat stitching torn, worn, broken. My seat buckle faulty. Crew, in ill-firring, creased uniforms, had...

Cubana cancelled my flight without notification. At the airport, when I was able to track the rep down he was supposed to busy to talk to me. It cost me 300 CUC's to take a taxi to Havana. Trying to get my money back, everyone I emailed passed the buck. Never will I use this airline again.

Not a bad airline if you go for a short flight. It would have been like a 16-hr bus ride back to Havana from Santiago, and then it was like just an hour and a half by plane between those cities, so for domestic flights Cubana is worth it. You get airconditioning on full blast, which in the short time...

I flew from Toronto to Varadero in March. For economy class one-way, the cost averages around $450, but can be under $400 in the summer during low season. The great thing about Cubana Airlines is that you get to check 1 bag free of charge, it’s included. I don’t know too many airlines these days who let you check a...

I cannot understand why people complain against Cubana. Timely flights, dirt cheap, decent service. You even get a free decent meal! Comfortable and clean. What else can one ask for?
