We took Cathay Dragon Air out of Hong Kong both to and from Kathmandu. It was a bigger plane that I had expected. The seat were comfortable, the attendants professional, and the food service was good. We had on time departures both ways which was great because it can be problematic getting out of Kathmandu.

End of November 2018, I had the occasion to fly out to Hong Kong from Kuala Lumpur for a quick meeting. Evening flight out, meetings in the morning, late afternoon return flight. There is a particular need for a comfortable ride, both legs. The only other direct flight alternative was the single aisle Malaysia Airlines 737 offering. Not keen at...

That sounds like a strange commendation (consistently ok) but given the challenges of poor airport services and 80% delayed flights out of Shanghai I think that Cathay does well. My last flight was only 30 mins delayed which was amazing really. There are regular horror stories of flying in/out of Shanghai - it is famous for its delays. What I...

This was my second flight to arrive to my final destination and really enjoyed the plane and it's services. It was a shorter flight than my first one so it was pretty quick, no complaints!

Dragon has really disappointed me. I traveled to Hong Kong and back in Cathay Dragon. Both times, the flight was delayed for 45 to 50 minutes to take off. Food serving was pathetic. They served food for few people first and took an hour to serve for others. The quality of the food was like nothing much to say about.

It is all about the ice cream. Yes, ice cream is all it takes to make my flight an amazing one. Crew without a doubt is one of the best in the industry. They don't make you feel like you are just another client or guest they serve. And I have to say they really pay attention to the smallest...

No sooner we settled down it became clear that Airbus 321 business class seats were extremely uncomfortable because of the way the back of the seat in front did not make it possible for feet to slide under when our seat reclined and seat leg extension arrived at desired length. Only saving grace was that flight was on 2.5 hours....

I am continually impressed by the charm of the crews on airlines flying around South East Asia. The service is smoothly delivered however many on board and always contains a good variety of choices. Many larger carriers could learn from Cathay Dragon on how to look after guests.

The ambience, cleanliness and food is quite good. Baggage handling too was nice. The food variety though could have better.
