It was all in all an PK experience and as always you get what you pay for. Had one leg with them in a AB 320 series and boarding and exit went smooth. Aircraft feelt clean and not yet needed a refurbish even if used in a high frequency. Service level as expected on a budget airline but you can...

Used them from London to Salzburg return. Generally quite good. Plane is clean. Comfortable for a short trip. Not sure about a long flight. No TV screen but only a short flight. I slept most of it. Very quick boarding. Staff generally friendly. Left on time and arrived early on the return but slightly delayed going out. Staff were sorry...

I heard negative things about this company, but I’ve to reconsider. My trip was actually nice, the seats are larger that most ‘cheap’ airlines and I felt respected by the crew.

Its good that they are covered by Lufthansa, as there will be no option on last minute alternatives (i. e. flight cancellation). Summertime looks like they are lacking on personnel, and would expect long queues on all their counters.

The situation around airline connections in Berlin was already very poor, but ever since Air Berlin went bust it has become even worse. Lufthansa’s low cost carrier Germanwings / Eurowings, supported by the German government, has taken over most of the planes and take-off/landing rights. I have not experienced a single flight without delay in the past months, travelling on...

I fly with this airline every 3 months for the short commute from Edinburgh to Cologne. The planes are always very clean( inside the cabin is very dull colours though ), and the cabin crew are very nice and friendly, always! They'll forever go out of their way to help you and accommodate for your needs. However, the seats are...

On Nov. 12, I took the 11 AM flight from Hamburg to Cologne. Check-in for my flight was speedy and the staff courteous, at the gate the boarding was quick, with the gate staff friendly and courteous to customers, from what I observed. The flight boarded quickly and was about 2/3 full. We had a speedy take off from Hamburg....

Checking in at Terminal D was awful 3 desks open terrible queue for security. The terminal was converted from a car park and it shows. It was like a cattle shed the staff appeared as if they could not be bothered. Bussed to aircraft the flight was full boarding was chaotic and they were allowing people to take on hand...

Terrible experience. After traveling from the US to U.K. to Germany with a carry-on sized roller bag, Cologne Airport decides that they won't accept it on a German Wings flight. So they force me to check it. And GermanWings loses my bag and it never makes it back to the US even with a 5-hour layover in LHR. I make...
