GOL changed our flight and we had no notification. As soon as I saw our new flight details it was obvious our flight connection in Sao Paolo GRU was too short, less than 30 mins to transfer people and luggage to planes.... Never made the connection and they offered us 3 star accommodation. Speaking to other people in the same...

Frustrating service. First, you can't check in online (i don't know whether its only for locals but it doesn't work for us Canadians), then, the self check in kiosks also don't work (again, it works for some people but not us!), so it forces you to check n in person. However, no one speaks English! Was standing in line and...

Customer service department isn't helpful to people that don't speak english. They direct you to different kiosks to avoid talking to you. You can't self checkin if you're not a local and the kiosks or website don't really inform anything . This caused us to miss our flight and delayed our return back a whole day. They did not seem...

We were pleasantly surprised at the service and personal attention they gave us as elderly people (although we are just in our sixties). Very unpleasant to have to experience long delays on both trips (to and from).

The airplane was in a good condition, clean and affordable comparing to other airlines. In general, tickets are over priced in Brazil with the lack of other options such as trains. I booked Premium Tickets and the service was acceptable. They don't offer any meals, just a soft drink. And there are no screens so you have to carry on...

Overall gol provided an efficient service - both flights were punctual and largely stress free as per expectations. A much less stressful experience than when flying with European low cost carriers. Baggage fees were reasonable if bought online in advance. However the website is atrocious if you need to access it in English. It keeps on defaulting back to Portuguese...

Being 2,03m tall can be challenging while traveling. Most airlines take this in consideration and will be more than willing to provide you with a decent seat once everyone has board the plane. Not in my case unfortunately. One entire row at the emergency seat was free but the steward refused to give me a seat. His comments was that...
