This was the most horrific flight experience I have ever had. First and foremost, we are a week out from when I landed and I still don't have my luggage. The email account blocked me (yes, I have screenshots), the phone number rarely works, or it disconnects while you're on the call. A week ago I was held at ORD Chicago with at least 7 other passengers for HOURS because they didn't know where our luggage was. Once they realized the luggage wasn't even in the country, they had us write down all of our contact information and promised we would hear about next steps later that evening. I never heard anything. Then after emailing Chicago Aviation and the city's transportation department, with them cc'd I finally heard back that my luggage was on last Wednesday's flight. I fear that never actually happened. I have heard nothing back about next steps. I am currently camped out at ORD waiting for their next flight because their numbers are STILL not working and they only have a presence at the airport when they have a flight. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE. Now let's get to the actual flight. City public transportation in the sky is of better quality. The seat of the person sitting next to me was torn open and the tray had to be Macgyver'd to not fall. The tvs hardly worked and for some, not at all. Our check-in process would have been comical if they did not have 100 people freaking out that we were going to miss our flight because they held us in a check-in line for 1.5 hours (They only open their desks 2 hours before the flight). Safe to say we were delayed.

Palma de Mallorca - Skopje
Europe
Buckle up, because this is going to be one long review. July 11th, 2024, me and my mother had booked two returning flights Mallorca-Belgrade; Belgrade-Skopje, both of them with Air Serbia. To begin with, the first flight from Mallorca was delayed for two hours, quickly leaving us to realize we would ultimately miss our connecting flight from Belgrade to Skopje, given the layover at Nikola Tesla Airport was a narrow window of an hour and a half. Soon after we boarded the plane, while waiting for take-off, we noticed the complete lack of air aboard and the horrible heat engulfing the entire aircraft. This resulted in feeling dizziness and shortness of breath; immediately I asked the flight attendant to “please give us a bottle of water, my mom isn’t feeling well” to which she coldly replied “after embarkation is over” leaving me in total disbelief to the utter lack of understanding and respect in her approach. A fellow passenger, noticing the irony of the situation, reached in the overhead compartment and handed us a bottle of still water, which I promptly gave to my mother and I am greatly thankful for. Upon arrival at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade around 1 AM, seeing as to the delay from the first flight made us miss our next flight to Skopje, we headed to the transfers desk. There we sought out further information, along with all of roughly 30 passengers from numerous other Air Serbia flights who also had their flights delayed or even cancelled. After being assigned to another flight to Skopje at 1 in the afternoon, we were instructed to wait to be then taken to a hotel near the airport where we could spend the night. All was(n’t) well, while the time passed painfully slow, and we ended up waiting all the way through the early hours of the morning, maybe until 4:30 or 5 AM. All this because apparently we had to wait for the ENTIRETY of passengers to be given information about each of their individual flights, and only then we could be organized as a group to be transferred to the hotel. By the time we got to the hotel, we hardly had time to rest or even get breakfast, before we had to be back at the airport for our returning flight to Skopje. The ordeal seemed to be over as soon as we landed at Skopje International Airport, but not for long. As if this story couldn’t get any worse, we were then told that our luggage, two suitcases in total, were lost. As of right now, we are waiting on information for the safe return of our belongings, which nobody could guarantee. In conclusion, it’s safe to say that this experience is possibly one of the worst ones I’ve ever been through. I am completely disappointed in the inability and the sheer incompetence of this world-renowned airline, that aims to be a dominating force in the air industry. Whoever reads this, I hope you never have to go through anything similar to this, and the only way to do that is to avoid flying Air Serbia.

Belgrade - Chicago
International
I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding the handling of our luggage on this airline. On July 8, 2024, my family of five traveled from Amsterdam to Chicago ORD with a layover in Belgrade, Serbia. We had five large suitcases containing two weeks' worth of belongings, including precious items belonging to my children. Unfortunately, none of our luggage arrived in Chicago. The customer service numbers listed on the website, +1 (718) 7258642 and +1 (888) 3909847, are unresponsive. They do not work during posted business hours, and after hours, the recording states the hours and hangs up. After waiting for over 90 minutes for our bags, we spoke with a representative who asked us to complete a "Baggage Irregularity Report." He promised to email us a tracking link and assured us that Air Serbia would ship our bags to our home address. He never sent the email, and our bags were never shipped. He suggested our bags would arrive on the next flight from Belgrade on July 10, 2024, due to a short transfer time during the connecting flight from Amsterdam. He promised to call or email upon their arrival but did neither. We can't reach anyone at Air Serbia and I fear that our luggage is now gone for good. (Stolen) Do NOT use this airline. A complete and absolute SCAM. At least seven other passengers on our flight also lost their baggage, totaling nearly 20 bags missing. None of them have heard from Air Serbia either. Hundreds of reviews online echo similar experiences with Air Serbia, citing no remedies or attempts to resolve the issues. Many passengers have sought legal assistance due to the airline's negligence. Again, do NOT fly this airline. You will regret it!
