I expected airline from Myanmar , (a country of 55 million people and nominal GDP of 90 billion dollars ) to be average or bad. But to my pleasant surprize, Myanmar Airline International turned out to be really good. Their number one positive is the attitude of their staff...polite, respectful and always attentive to the needs of passengers. Flight took...

i was offered a car round trip to Mandalay with all important sightseeings for USD 300 with an overnight stay. For just Mandalay i chose the flight in the morning which was effectively 40 minutes - after quick check-in and boarding (flight was fully booked) i took a taxi to bring me to the 4-5 important spots and flew back...

In March, 2018, I purchased a ticket on Vayama.com for a Myanmar Airways International (MAI) round-trip flight from Mandalay to Nyaung U for flight 8M4232 at 9:40 AM on June 21st. I did not purchase a one-way ticket. I paid for a round-trip ticket. The hotel I was staying at in Myanmar did not have good WiFi, and I did...

It was a charter flight of an Estonian carrier but operated by MAI (wet-leased a/c). It was a bit unexpected to have a Myanmar carrier operating a charter flight in Europe but after initial surprise I shouldn't complain - flight was smooth (landing was a bit rough but I don't know the reasons), all safety information was available, aircraft looked...

I have flown MAI more than 10 times & MAI is the ONLY airline which has NOT offered a frequent flyer card. I went to the MAI office to get an appointment with the CEO. I was not allowed. Could not even voice my opinion

Quite comfortable seats, helpful staff and both flights on time. Don’t expect anything more like onboard entertainment etc. But this is nice standard and deserves 4*.

Flight from Bkk to Yangon was fine. The flight back, however, from Yangon to Bkk, the counter did not open till two hours before flight departure - isn't it standard now that international flight check-ins open 3 hours before? Anyway, not a big deal if ground staff were also friendlier, which upon asking her what time the counter would open,...

Myanmar Airways International have ground crews at Terminal 1 helping international arrivals connecting to domestic flights at other Terminals. From what we could see, they are the only airline ground crews supporting arriving travelers (no other airlines). We had a tight connection and our checked bags came in the last badge. The ground crews informed the domestic check-in counter in...

My favourite airline in Myanmar, I tried almost all the airlines in many years but from last year this is my favourite one. Good planes, kind staff, comfortable sits (premium economy) and direct flight to Yangon! I suggest MNA!
