This was my first time flying on Southwest. I never think of them because they don't typically show up on travel sites. I booked my flight 3-4 weeks before traveling and was shocked at how competitively priced they were. & Checked bags are FREE! The flight was cheaper and I didn't have to worry about bags, win win! The no...

Flying gets more crowded and busy every day, but least Southwest tries to make it as smooth as possible. Check-in is professional and on-board service is friendly and helpful without intruding.

Sometimes you take things for granted and that happens with Southwest. You expect professional service before and during the flight and they always deliver.

My flight from Charleston was on time, and friendly. With Southwest, I've pretty much gotten rid of my fear of flying! I trust the pilots. I hope this continues for the rest of my life because I have friends and family across the country and I want to keep seeing them! THANK YOU Southwest!

It has been several years, since before 9/11 that I have flown. This was a business trip. Zero problems at either airport. Excellent staff at Love Field in Dallas. Quick processing of baggage at both airports. Quick processing and professional staff at both TSAs. For some reason, I had to be "frisked" at both airports but I did not feel...

Check-in was easy and quick. There was people to point us in the right direction to get to our concourse. A little confused about printing boarding passes, I printed at home but they do printed at the airport also. Seats comfortable, not fancy. Cabin temp comfortable. I like the great view from the window seat.

This was my first time flying with Southwest and I must say the three things that stood out are: : 1. No assigned seats. ( I was not sure so I asked the attendant at the gate as we were getting ready to board) 2. To me carry on was much easier than another major airline. I was able to...

About Southwest Airlines
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines (WN) is the world's largest low-cost carrier. Southwest operates non-stop flights to more than 100 destinations across 10 countries. Unlike many major airlines, Southwest does not use hubs, but rather a point-to-point system. About 15 airports with a significant amount of WN flights have been designated as focus cities. The airline's fleet is configured with just an Economy Class cabin. In contrast to many low-cost carriers, Southwest does not charge a fee for up to two checked bags; non-alcoholic drinks and pretzels or peanuts are also free on board. Early boarding access, automatic online check-in and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
