Major confusion, no proper gate change information, overlapping announcements makes it hard to hear, too many flights coming and going from the Spirit wing of the airport a very small place causing a major confusion between weary travelers , some with luggage, elderly, strollers and kids. At the start of boarding the staff are clearly unable to properly monitor the...

Their website is poorly done. Their tactics are bait and switch or "nickel and dime you to death" but our actual flying experience was good. The planes we flew on are very new and the crews were friendly and professional. The captain kept us informed of the potential for turbulence and our estimated arrival times, and we were on time....

This airline is the biggest rip off by the time you are done buying a seat, paying for baggage, and the $9 fare club that is not $9 you could have flown a better airline with better customer service. You have to pay for a soda and a bag of chips it is ridiculous. Our flight crew all seemed to...

I really liked the business model. Well, they claim to be a no-frill, low-fares airlines and they really are. We had to pay for booking a check-in bag (max 40 pounds only), no cabin baggage allowed. What was allowed was only a laptop backpack and that was fine - as long as they advertised the same and stuck to what...

Outrageously bad. Took two flights (connecting) flights from Central America. First was from Panama City to Fort Lauderdale. Flight was 4 hours late due to weather, it happens. Get to Fort Lauderdale, breeze through customs, get to baggage collection just as the bell goes off and turnstile starts moving, no luggage about 40 mins pass and still no luggage is...

I have flown Spirit many times for years now without a problem. Last month I booked a flight to Vegas with the intentions of driving to Cali with my family to go see my Niece graduate. Long story short, after taking off, our flight was re-routed back to PDX and we waited in the airport for an update for many...

My Wife and I travel once or twice every year for vacation. In our last trip, I made the mistake of booking Spirit without knowing what type of airline we were dealing with. I was drawn in by the low fairs. But as I continued my booking experience, I began to realize that every option I chose was an additional...

This is the worst airline I've used in my entire life. I realized that my flight was leaving Friday and not Thursday. I called them right away and they told me I would have to pay $100 to make changes. My flight was only $80 so to me that is ridiculous. I asked to speak to a manager and she...
