The first class seats on this route are newer with individual power and good sized TVs. However, they appear to have less pitch. The food was good, with ice cream sundaes on our evening return flight. Worth the price if reasonable or of course if budgeted.
My wife and I flew over night from Dulles to Rome on United. I just got tired of those ridiculous narrow seventeen inch seats and paid the price for first class. It was worth the space and service. Also we flew back using Delta. In my opinion United is better. We liked the configuration of the seats. The movie and...More
Business class is quite good. We booked economy, but it was overbooked, so we got business class. The space is less cramped than economy, and the seats recline more. The plane is very clean. The food and entertainment were also good.
I have always liked flying United, however on an overseas flight, I would tend to look at other airlines. The seats were very small and the leg room is almost non existent. I would hope that even in economy class, a normal sized person could be more comfortable. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Economy class has very little legroom. The space is very cramped. You have to wait a long time to board the plane. There are often delays.
I would like to specifically thank Ms. Annie Stevens of United Airlines Customer Service in LAX. My family had problems with our booking from Cheapoair who messed up our tickets. When we got to LAX, we found out that we were not booked at all- no tickets even though we have the confirmation and assigned seats too...Ms. Stevens helped us...More
Our layover in Chicago was simply to change planes but the plane we were assigned never showed up! We waited for hours and finally a replacement arrived but it was a very small commuter prop less than half the size of our original plane. We had to continue to wait until enough passengers agreed to take a later flight before...More
It was a hassle when my flight was cancelled just minutes after I'd checked in and said goodbye to my bag. It took a little over an hour to get the bag back. But United paid for a meal, a shuttle from Dulles Airport to National, and a FAR more expensive ticket to Boston on American. PLUS, they still giving...More
United - what can I say. In my experience, they have more flight delays, poor service, are more cramped than other airlines and the flight attendants generally do not seem to be enjoying themselves. When they didn't hold my connecting plane because the first flight was very delayed, I must say, the customer service rep in Chicago was actually helpful,...More
The leg room is too short. My husband is 6'3". The seats are too close together so space is not adequate for his knees. The gate agent rerouted us for our next leg which was going to be delayed 5 hours but made a mistake so the ticketing supervisor in Denver couldn't print our boarding passes until the United staff...More
