Why should I get sloppy leftovers because I'm at the back of the plane?

We were flying on United Airlines to Costa Rica. The flight crew got to Charlotte an hour late which means we left an hour late. We missed our connecting flight in Houston, TX (it was only 50 min layover which we thought wasn't enough anyway) and was told to go to Customer Service. What a joke! 50 people in line...

Have had terrible experiences with United before (last minute cancelled flights, overbooked flights, out of food, etc) so I was leery but didn't have a choice given where I live & where I was going. I was pleasantly surprised, I had courteous staff, my flights weren't delayed or overbooked, the plane was clean. On the way home the leg of...

Everything about this airline is a disaster, from the constantly cancelled/delayed flights, to the horribly rude staff, to the actual planes, which are the least comfortable imaginable, to the awful food... you name it, it's bad. I mean BAD. Do yourself a favor and never, ever, fly United.

For more than six hours flight, one tends to be unsocial, unfriendly, and just plain rude. The atmosphere was very calm, quiet, and every crew knew what to do or say to each passenger in the business class. I slept easily when I wanted to ànd when I needed to. The crew made sure that everyone had their seat belt...

Was at the airport and found out my 8 year old grandson was unconscious and at UCLA emergency. Parents were out of town and nanny was with him. I left the airport for the hospital The personnel at the United club were sympathetic and understanding and told me to go and they would take care of baggage. After my grandson...

Repeatedly on United International: "offering" two menu choices at mealtime but about halfway through serving economy, the more popular item runs out and often so does item #2. Also frequently meals are delivered with "missing" items...i.e. no dessert or vegetable despite the neighbor having that item ... Example: I was handed a vegetarian plate - rice, carrots and nothing else...

We flew UA1594 from IAH to PHX on a 737-900 (739), in FC. Boarding at IAH went very smoothly, and we pushed back from the gate 3 mins early, for our 2:38 hr. (average) flight to PHX. The pre-departure beverage service started almost immediately after we boarded. There was a meal (lunch) and additional beverage service about 0:40 hr. into...

We flew UA35638 from AUS to IAH on a 737-800 (738), in FC. Boarding at AUS went very smoothly, and we pushed back from the gate only 5 mins. late, for our 0:58 hr. (average) flight to IAH. Again, there was no pre-departure beverage service, and the in-flight service was very rushed, but we had some turbulence, starting right out...
