We were flying 6 hours each way with two children (7 and 10) and really appreciated that the entertainment monitors had not (yet) been pulled from the cabin. I have always enjoyed flying Virgin and fear that Alaska will add those to the shopping trip that their flights have become.

Loved that i had my own monitor. I bought a headphone at the airport and used it. Watched a documentary about wineries. Too bad the flight was only 1 1/2 hours.

The Virgin America planes are all very well equipped - with seat-back video screens for watching moves, and electrical outlets at every seat. They will all soon be Alaska Airlines planes - so this is great...!

I have traveled 3 round trip flights from California to Washington DC. My husband had back surgery and is not be able to sit in regular seats for that long. I consider this flight to be part of our vacation where we spoil ourselves once or twice a year. Each time I am really not impressed with the customer service...

Upset this airline doesn’t exist any longer! One of the best airlines I’ve been on. Loved the video, and the ordering good service.

Virgin was cheaper than Alaska. Good service customer punctuality. I hope the quality still the same as Alaska now.

Was disapointed. The gate crew and pilots were great, friendly and helpful. I canot saw the same about the cabin crew. Communication was not there. They do not provide any meals unless you buy. You get one small free non alcohol drink if the crew asks. Our plane had a few maintenance issues, like cabin lights burnt out and light...

About Virgin America (now Alaska Airlines)
Virgin America (VX) merged with Alaska Airlines (AS) on 25 April 2018. The combined airline is now known as Alaska Airlines. The Alaska Airlines livery and logo are replacing the Virgin America brand. Aircraft with the Virgin America livery are expected to operate into late 2019 (the expected completion date for repainting all aircraft in the Alaska Airlines livery). Virgin America was a California-based low-cost carrier serving more than 20 destinations within the United States and Mexico. The airline's all Airbus fleet was configured with two classes of service: First Class and Main Cabin (Economy Class). Within the Main Cabin, passengers could opt for Main Cabin Select seats. These seats offered more legroom and were located at the bulkheads and exit rows. Virgin America operated hubs at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
