I have flown this airline since it started and flown all its classes. I fly across the Atlantic about 6 times per year. In recent years i have flown Upper Class but the cost was too astronomical so i went for Premium Economy. Here is what is good- the food and the stewardess v nice and helpful. Here is what...

Ok, so having flown to Dubai with emirates last year on their beautiful 747, I was advised to expect a similar experience with virgin. Same plane, same customer service, same standards etc.. Unfortunately it became obvious from the outset that this was not the case. The plane was grubby and looked neglected. The headset port on my seat was broken,...

A great service by Virgin Atlantic from their ground floor staff, cabin crew and pilot. Throughout this journey we were informed of the programme for the overnight flight. Great food - plenty of pasta for the vegetarian passengers (me included, as I’d forgotten to book a vegetarian meal) and other options for meat eaters. A menu was provided so that...

After arriving at Manchester we were asked if we would like to upgrade. So glad we did. We were sat at the top of the plane and were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble, comfy seats , lovely food and drinks and the staff were so great. I love travelling with Virgin but this was a really special...

We fly this route with Virgin a couple of times a year and have done so for the last 6 years. Over this period the service has been consistently good and the inflight entertainment outstanding. The flight is as short as it can be and is usually very punctual. Over the years the food offering has varied in quality but...

Having never flown with Virgin, I was keen to compare with Emirates. They didn’t fail. Everything from booking to check-in to to in flight service was of the highest standard. The only + for Emirates is that I flew on the Airbus 380! Will definitely fly with them again and would recommend without hesitation. Thank you Virgin.

Best business class lounge in London. Having flown over 150 flights to London, Best Business class. The check in was a breeze, extremely service minded at the airport and on the plane. Business class seats were extremely comfortable and food very good. Having flown business and first class to and from Europe, Virgin is still the best.

It is about 25 years since we last travelled with Virgin which was a pretty miserable experience so we hoped for better this time. Having decided that Premium Economy was an unnecessary expense we booked emergency exit seats to gain some extra leg room. This was fine but the old 747 had seen better days and it was very noisy....

I have travelled a lot, but I have never travelled with Virgin Atlantic. I must admit the staff was excellent on both legs of the journey. However, the plane was really old and dated. The tv screens didn’t worked for over an hour going out and had to keep being reset. Coming home they wouldn’t work and we were given...
