We recently travelled to Jamaica Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton resort from October 26th to October 30th, 4 night 5 days.
We booked a romance villa suite ocean view (Room# 3132) because we were celebrating our 19th year wedding anniversary. We booked this room mainly because of the features of the room.
The 1st issue we encountered was one of the lounge chair on our balcony was missing the cushion. We requested to get that on Sunday morning at front desk, we did not receive it so we called from the room to request again. Late Monday evening we finally received one and we were able to enjoy the balcony on Tuesday which was our 4th day there. (The day before coming back home)
The 2nd issue is the Jacuzzi tub in our room started leaking when it was turned on, we have a jacuzzi tub at home and we are aware of how to use it. This issue happened late Monday night as we were trying out the tub because we wanted to use it on the day of our anniversary Tuesday 29th of October. On Tuesday morning we brought it to their attention and left the room to enjoy our day. When we returned in the evening, we noticed it was not fixed. We then went to the front desk and spoke to the Customer relation manger on duty. She did offer to have someone come to look at the issue at that moment and did admit that there was a lack of communication from them and they dropped the ball in attending to the issue, but it was already late at night and because we just had a little time remaining on the day of our anniversary we didn't want to spend it with maintenance personnel or being moved to another room, At this point we only had a few hours left before returning home the next day.
Unfortunately at the moment it didn't occur to us to take any pictures of the issues.
Please note that flights to and from Jamaica was great and on time and so was the transfers to and from the hotel, our main issue was service and the room.
The issue has been documented in the hotels system when we spoke to the Customer Relations Manager.
This issue has been ongoing since October and has not been resolved.
