Dew to the sanctions against Syria we don't have other option to fly to dubai unless we go go through Beirut air port and this will take 12 hours and two borders while it's only three hours flight from damascus airport.

Actually I traveled with this airline before the war in Syria. But what I remember is that the airplane stunk! There were hair near my seat and when the food came, I could hardly eat. Other passengeres, mostly Syrian Arabs, they took off their shoes in the plane and started rubbing their feet in front of other passengers. I think...

The country's flag carrier, SyrianAir (RB) is based in Damascus and operates hubs at Damascus International Airport (DAM) and Aleppo International Airport (ALP). It has temporarily ceased operations in the wake of the country's civil war. The airline, which was founded in 1946, most recently had scheduled flights to five cities within Syria and about 20 destinations in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Its fleet consists of 12 aircraft: Six Airbus A320-200 used for passenger flights and six Ilyushin Il-76 planes used for cargo. Passenger aircraft are configured with two cabins: Economy Class and Business Class.
