My seat was broken the entire flight. It was a nightmare and I can’t get in contact with any customer service representative.

Brand new plane , obviously designed to maximum number of seats they can sell. If you are over 5’5” you will not fit in the economy seat. Air Canada and other airlines have always “pushed it” but they have taken it to a new low for this plane. Reclining is also very limited. If I was a lawyer I’d have spent my four hours looking up if there is any case for a class action lawsuit against this company.

St. Lucia - Toronto
International
On our way back to Canada, this time our flight arrangements had us sitting side by side with an aisle between us. Although this was not ideal, I was at least able to converse with my husband. Beside me, I noted that there were two unaccompanied children. I was surprised to note that the Steward Chaperone was not sitting in close proximity to these children. For the most part they were well behaved (until the sugar kicked in) and I was concerned that the children were not wearing their seat belts during the flight. After seeing all the turbulence issues in the news, I had this thought that if we hit turbulence those poor children would be bouncing everywhere along with their gear stowed under their seats. Thankfully this didn't happen. As our flight progressed, the children sitting in my aisle had priority meal service (attended to first). I could see the other individuals looking on with anticipation when they received their hot meals. The attendants assured everyone around us that the service was coming imminently. Now to the unexpected experience that we had. I was speaking with one of the attendants about our St Lucia experience. She actually noted that we flew down to St Lucia together and she remembered us. I had briefly noted what an awesome anniversary celebration it was and made my way back to my seat. So my husband and I are having a discussion when the same attendant came to us with a tray and a note. The note was to thank us for choosing Air Canada Rouge and they wished us all the best for our anniversary. They gave us little bottles of champagne and a nice cheeseboard! It was so touching. You should have seen the others looking on as we popped our bottles of champagne. This gesture took our minds off the fact that we didn't have any entertainment and that our space was limited.

flight was okay but ended up being worse after i heard a flight attendant talking badly about another flight attendant. like excuse me how old are you that you have to start rumours about a flight attendant to make their day and mine like crap. this is unacceptable that there is bullying from grown ass adults. i believe that this flight attendant should be written up, i believe it was Aditya? that was their name. unacceptable. poorly customer service. looks bad on the brand.

Cancun - Victoria
Canada
If they will ask to check in your carry on luggage please REFUSE IT!!!! Coming back from the vacation in Cancun with my wife, Air Canada's check in agent asked us to check in our carry on luggage because of the lack of storage in the cabin. Thinking that we can help to them and less hassle for us we agreed. But when we arrived in Victoria, my carry on luggage was nowhere to be seen. We talked to the lady staff of Air Canada in the airport and she insisted that the luggage was there. We filed the delayed luggage. In next few days, Air Canada's baggage team insisting that we took the luggage and claimed that we lost it which is never TRUE. Unsatiable, now all the good memories we had in the vacation was overpowered by emotionally stress and mentally upset. I was a FOOL to TRUST them my luggage. And they can never compensate this horrendous experience we had. Next step is to Call the Police for us.
