Located 12 miles from downtown, Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) serves the greater Montreal metropolitan area, including parts of Vermont and New York. It is the busiest airport in the province of Quebec and the fourth-busiest airport in Canada when measured by the number of passengers. In 2014, more than 14.8 million travelers passed through the airport. Montréal–Trudeau serves as a hub for Air Canada. In total, about 40 airlines operate at the airport, offering non-stop flights to more than 130 destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The airport has three runways and a single terminal with three concourses: A domestic concourse, an international concourse and a concourse devoted to flights to the United States.
