Located about seven miles west of downtown, the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) serves the city of Santa Barbara as well as California's Tri-County Region. The airport consists of a single terminal and three runways. The airport is the busiest coastal airport north of Los Angeles and south of San Jose, with about 750,000 passengers passing through annually. Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines all operate from the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport. Combined, these carriers have about 40 daily departures to points across the western United States. Passenger amenities at the airport include free WIFI internet, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops, ATMs and a visitor information center.
