The fifth-busiest airport in Texas, about 8.4 million passengers used the San Antonio International Airport (SAT) in 2014. Located about eight miles north of downtown, the airport serves the greater San Antonio metropolitan area. Aeroméxico Connect, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Interjet, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, VivaAerobus and Volaris all operate at the airport, which has three runways and two terminals with a total of 24 gates. Passengers can fly non-stop between SAT and 30 US destinations as well as five cities in Mexico.
