About
This is the first cooking workshop in Alicante, born in 2022. Unlike other cooking workshops we introduced the local Market as an important key of the cooking process. That´s why you will spend an hour in the Market buying the freshest ingredients and interacting with the stall owners, while you learn about the Spanish cuisine, history and traditions. Discover the best mediterranean flavours and recipes led by a local and proffesional chef and her assitant in her own venue. This is NOT an artificial venue made for tourists, but a local bussiness, where you could interact with other travellers and locals. Taste your own homemade paella, sangría and appetizers/tapas. Different paella flavours available (sea food, meat, or veg.). This is the best local gourmet experience to know firsthand the gastronomy and cuisine of Alicante! Local guide, local chef, local comerce, and local products, a perfect match.

Great tour for short history of Alicante
I did the free walking tour. I didn’t know you can/should reserve a spot ahead of time so make sure to do it if you want to join the tour! I got very lucky when I went because the tour had started at 10:30 instead of 11 (which I would have known if I reserved a spot), but the group ended up back at the starting spot just before 11 so I was able to join them. Overall, great tour. The guide shows you the main attractions of old town and tells you recommendations for which activities to complete or not. We got to try turron, which is a traditional treat from Alicante. The guide was very informative about the city’s history as well. I highly recommend this tour and remember, the guides live off tips so make sure you tip well if you enjoyed the tour!

Even though it was during the hogueras festival and most of the party's were on the streets our guide showed us some great pubs and club along with some of the amazing street parties which were happing. Would definitely recommend trying it while your in Alicante.

      Amazing walking tour around Alicante
The history and nougat tasting (turron) with Maria was brilliant! Maria was warm, friendly, funny, informative and really helpful. She showed us lots of different sites around Alicante, explaining local history and culture. Although we were quite a large group the speaker system meant we could all hear well. An extra bonus was visiting a local turron shop to taste turron. This tour really helped me to be orientated around Alicante. I would 100% recommend it.

Alicante Old Town walking tour - don't miss it!
We went on the Alicante Old Town walking tour with Nathalia. She was superb! Very knowledgeable and entertaining! She took time to talk to all the group, making sure all could hear her. Honestly can't recommend the walking tour enough, especially if you have Nathalia as a guide! The 4 Scottish friends!

      No one turned up!
I (and many others) had booked on to a walk on Saturday 25th November at 11am but no one turned up. I messaged the support number but had no response. Sadly I cannot recommend this company.

      OK
Not the most entertaining but got a good sense of the place. English could be improved. Voice projection and or sound equipment could be improved.

      Supberb walking tour
Jose was our guide on the Alicante free walking tour. He was superb. Told us a lot about the city's history. He led us through the old town and to the market. We stopped at a small shop where we tasted some turron and local sweet wine. After the tour he sent us an email with several suggestions about restaurants, bars and food. A highly recommended tour.

Enjoyable walking tour of Alicante, informative, fun and memorable
The tour was a very enjoyable experience, I would highly recommend adding this to your itinerary when visiting Alicante. Would try an attend at the start of your trip as my guide Jose provided lots of useful information and tips on where to eat what to try and what to visit. He showed us some of the main attractions, sharing information about key historical moments in Alicante's history giving a flavour of the culture of the city. Jose enthusiasm for his city was infectious and made the tour all the more enjoyable. A great way to spend a couple of hours in beautiful Alicante. Thank you Jose!!

I love to cook and indulge in cusines globally. Today I had an amazing experience shopping for ingredients and then preparing Paella and Sangria with a wonderful bunch of people. Our lovely guide Frederico was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process in both English and Spanish, he catered for the whole group and made sure everyone felt comfortable.

We really liked the course. We learned a lot about the products of Spain and our guide Fede knew how to answer all our questions. It was fun and family-friendly. And it must be said that it was one of the best paellas we have tried. Top 👍🏻

We booked the Workshop as a present for a friend and we all loved it! María is so friendly and you can feel the enthusiasm she has about food. First we got to the market and she explained everything in detail about the market and the food. Then we had to prepare the ingredients for cooking and then we cooked the Paella. It was so delicious and we really enjoyed the workshop and getting to know the Spanish culture!❤️

This was a very interesting experience! Paella was delicious (absolutely different from the one served on the beach). I absolutely love the market we visited, stories of our guide and of course cooking and eating. Strongly recommend this type of activity if you are in Alicante.

Really fun course. Fórum á Mercado central að kaupa in og lärðum michud um úðurðið sem právát var í matargerðina. A fun and great experience that I wouldn't have wanted to miss at all. Federico was passionate about Spanish cuisine. Really measure up to this.

We had a 10/10 experience. Federico was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed wondering the market and learning about the different stalls and grades of Iberian jamon. This experience did not just include paella and sangria, we had olives and jamon from the market and also a fish and tomato salad which is traditional to Alicante. From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely do it again

Recommended! Very nice workshop. You will first go shopping in the indoor Point of Sale. A little further down the road you will work in a kitchen under supervision. A lot was explained and in consultation you choose what you want to do. Result: enjoyed a delicious sangria and paella.
