Overview

Mt. Fuji, a snow-capped volcano in Japan, is one of the world’s most iconic peaks. At the base of the mountain lies the scenic lakeside village of Yamanakako, home of a relaxing hot water spring. Get a peek at the world-famous summit and enjoy a mini-spa retreat on this fun and invigorating combo tour, which also makes a shopping stop at Gotemba Premium Outlets.

What to Expect

Mt. Fuji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has inspired poets, artists, and travelers for centuries, earning its status as a global cultural icon. Say goodbye to Tokyo’s crowds and get a good look at the mighty mountain—an active volcano—on this fun and hassle-free nature excursion.

Departing central Tokyo, enjoy the ride to Mt. Fuji, while trip organizers handle all the logistics. Your private guide knows where to go to capture postcard-perfect snapshots of the world-famous summit. Learn the revered mountain’s culture and history as you get a firsthand peek at its slopes.

Enjoy a traditional Japanese meal served on plates made from real Mt. Fuji rock with a lunch upgrade. At Lake Yamanakako, soak in an authentic hot water spring (onsen) at the base of the mountain. Then, hit up Gotemba Premium Outlets to browse high-end shops under the shadow of Mt. Fuji before being transported back to Tokyo.

A day trip that truly pays off.

One of the best day trips I have taken! Mt. Fuji was luckily in full view for us for most of the day so we were definitely not disappointed. The highlight of the trip was definitely our guide Nao - couldn’t rate her high enough!...More

Triple Experience in A Day

A really worthwhile trip being able to visit Mount Fuji, experience Onsen and shop all in 1 day! Mount Fuji was very kind to us - showing itself in full glory from morning to evening.

Mt Fuji Experience

Too rush from a destination to another. If could have longer time to stay will be better for traveller to take a picture and shopping times.

This day trip will always be fondly remembered, especially since I pulled off the perfect surprise proposal to my girlfriend on the fourth station of Mount Fuji! The fifth station was closed due to snow in the winter but that was no issue. Our tour...More

A lot of people on my trip skipped the onsen part. While the others are bathing, they sat in a waiting area at the spa. So you don’t have to go in the onsen, but you will have to physically go to the spa with everyone else... More

30-40 mins is spent at the 5th station. This is the closest you get to the mountain.
