About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Companion5847920 contributionsDriver lied and left us in the wrong location.Do NOT use this car service! We booked a ride on a Sunday Sept. 15 from Aix en provence to Avignon. The driver took us to the wrong address, claiming he couldn't drive any further because it was a pedestrian zone. We had given him the hotel address from the VTC dropdown menu on their website, thinking they knew how to get there. When he stopped the car, we called our hotel and they gave him the correct way to reach the hotel by car, but the VTC driver lied to us and said the hotel was "up the street," a "few minutes walk," instead of taking us to the correct entrance. We had four heavy bags that we dragged about 10 minutes and there was no hotel. We had to call the hotel to come get us. It took their staff about 15 minutes by foot to reach us and help us with our bags. The VTC driver was too lazy to turn around and take us to the correct entrance. When we got to the hotel, the front desk showed us on a map how the driver could have pulled right up to the entrance.Written September 15, 2024
- paul0d19630 contributionsShuttle bus to/from the airportShuttle bus from Vitrolles station to Airport Be aware. This is not free or included in your train ticket from St Charles to the Airport. We were press ganged by ticket inspectors at the airport. Despite being told at St Charles that our ticket was all the way to the airport, when we got there we were confronted with 4-6 inspectors trying to get “excess” fares from us. Thankfully there were French passengers as well as British passengers so they backed down. When getting on the shuttle to/from the airport BUY A TICKET.Written September 30, 2022
- Carol B0 contributionsGreat access from and to other parts in France.Late night arrival is not a problem. In addition to taxicabs outside the station, there is a bus that runs to central Aix-en-Provence.Written November 20, 2019
- Didi H0 contributionsReturn to ParadiseNice and all the towns on the coast are simply stunning -the weather is warm and Nice in Nice ,the food is gourmet ,therefore Nice too ,the people are Nice as well -in a place where everything goes so Nice ,what more Nicer one could have dreamt of ?Written October 26, 2019
- Whitney S0 contributionsHiked to the Abbaye was special.Spent 3 nights in Gordes. Wonderful town to visit. Good restaurants ( L'Outsider and La Trinquette) with very friendly people. Nice boulangerie too, Mama Jean or something like that. Took a 40 minute hike to the Abbaye. A lot nicer and more impressive hiking there than driving to the Abbaye. The gift shop at the Abbaye has EVERYTHING lavender and at reasonable prices. Great little area of Provence to explore.Written October 8, 2019
