      Travel with Boat Milica
Peter John Posting publicly across Google I'm so happy it finally happened! Traveling with Boat Milica was an incredible experience. Everything was perfect-the friendly service, the comfortable boat, the knowledgeable and cheerful guide, and, of course, the stunning sunset. It was such a beautiful and inspiring evening. I would absolutely do it again and recommend it to

      Bird watching paradise
A stunning experience and the highlight of our holiday. You go out on a basic wooden boat with a guide. The guide was friendly, helpful (assisted me on and off the boat) and knowledgeable about the birds. We saw lots of Kingfishers, Coots, Great Crested Grebes, White and Grey Herons, Cormorant and the Dalmatian Pelican. We were offered wine which was a pleasant surprise. My only disappointment was how littered the lake and National Park are given the country has been so clean elsewhere. Definitely worth the long drive and early start

Highly recommend Kingfisher boats, such a memorable tour
Such a special day. Baki the captain guided us through the most beautiful of scenery, pointing out wildlife as we went. We were so lucky to see so much wildlife including pelicans, eagles and a kingfisher. Baki was so friendly and spoke amazing English, thanks also for the delicious Montenegro donuts, cheese and honey and local wines. The national park and lake Skadar are just stunning, beautiful scenery you won't forget.

Would highly recommend Kingfisher boat.trips on Lake Skadar. We had a private 4 hour tour. Baki the captain was extremely knowledgeable, spoke impeccable English and his pride for the national park shone through. He was patient whilst we watched eagles, pelicans, kingfishers and other birdlife. Absolutely stunningly beautiful scenery. Thank you for the delicious Montenegro donuts and honey, and local wine A trip definitely to remember

      Amazing trip
Fantastic all round trip. Smooth check in process. our guide (Dragan) was very friendly, informative but also relaxed and happy to leave us to ourselves. Amazing scenery, wine was basically unlimited and we also stopped for a brief swim. Virpazar itself is very small but we parked in the free parking the other side of the main road at “Parking virpazar”. 5 min walk to kingfisher

    Can't recommend Kingfisher enough!

We went with the 3hr boat tour, that included time to visit a Monastery and lake swimming - there was also complementary drinks (water and wine) as well as fresh Priganice (Montenegrin doughnuts)
For the money you pay, this is the best value thing I've done on any holiday. Beautiful scenery, great wildlife.

If you sit closer to the driver in the boat, he gives some really helpful commentary about the history and geography of the lake.
If you're happy to sit at the front and take in the stunning views of Lake Skadar, you can just sit at the front and take it all in.

Additionally, we had to check out of our apartment before we had the tour and the Kingfisher staff held our luggage for us before we were moving to our next destination - so easy and very helpful!

Our hearts are beyond satisfied that you brought home some beautiful memories from Lake Skadar. We are happy we hosted you on a thrilling journey through the lake's breathtaking wilderness and beautiful sceneries. We had a three-hour group tour across Lake Skadar to Kom Monastery in the evening (4-7:30 p.m.). It was the perfect time of day. We were also given delicious wine, water and Montenegrin specialties (priganice with local honey). From the monastery we had a great view of the lake and its water lily carpets. Finally, some of the guests had a swim session on the way back.

We were very kindly received by the Kingfisher team and brought to the boat at the agreed time. A very nice wooden boat with thatched roof, so you were sheltered from the sun. The Skadar lake is beautiful and it was lovely to sail by boat between the water lilies and water castles with the beautiful mountains in the background. Lovely that we were offered drinks (wine, juice and water) and were offered a sweet snack. The visit to the Kom monastery was a nice interlude. We enjoyed our 3 hour trip and can highly recommend it.

We had to do the 3 hour ride and as the weather was bad, we finally did the 2 hour ride in a big boat.
We were quite disappointed to have had very little explanation from the guides and more specifically about the fauna and flora. We asked questions but we didn’t feel willing to come and tell us more or really answer our questions.
The Girl Guide who was present was however very well and gave us some very clear introductions, she was attentive to us and explained to us very well some things about the history of the lake.
The landscapes are also very pretty.
It is therefore a rather mixed return.

We are sorry you didn't have the experience you wanted/expected with us. Unfortunately, we are even more sorry, as we know this could have been prevented. Upon seeing that the weather will be bad and unsafe to do a tour with a small boat for 3 hours, we have provided you with a choice and explanations about the change. We can't control the weather and can do nothing except refund the total amount (which you declined). Also, the safety of our crew and passengers is always in the first place, and we would never risk anyone's safety to have a picture or two in a wooden boat. Regarding the "guides," I am not sure what to say. Iva, your tour guide, was the only guide on your tour and I am happy to hear she does her job well. There are other crew members (captain and his helper), but their role isn't to guide but to ensure your safety. We hope we will have the opportunity to host you again on Lake Skadar, and show you that our experience might be a 4* one, but a 2* - definitely not.

We chose the 3h walk including the walk on Skadar Lake, the visit to Kom Monastery as well as a swimming break. For the visit to the Monastery, a long-sleeved t-shirt and trousers must be provided to access the visit. Note, even without visiting the Monastery, there is a magnificent view of Skadar Lake as well as the National Park.

Petits +: very friendly Guide and drinks at discretion.

Amazing views, capitan Petar was very friendly and kind, he shared a lot of information about the lake. We also got to taste typical red and white wine and also got a snack😋 We also stopped near water lilies to take really beautiful pictures. Almosy at the end of the tour we also stopped in the middle of the lake and were albe to go swimming for a few minutes. It was really nice. Highly recommend.😁

Very professional people to deal with. We decided to book an extra hour when we boarded the private boat for 4 and they were flexible enough to let us do this. We had a lovely, young boat captain who was most obliging. A lovely day; the highlight of our holiday in Montenegro. I would say an unmissable experience. The lake is gorgeous with its bulrushes and lilies.

We did this trip which is meant to be a birdwatching trip with a stop at a Monastery and a stop for a swim in the lake. We did enjoy it but the guide did not talk about the birds, the Monastery which was disappointing. The views from the small boat are beautiful. Wine, water and cake was provided

Dear Collette, we are really sad to see that we did not fulfil your expectations. We are sorry that you did not tell us about these inconveniences right after the tour. I am sure that you would get appropriate explanation and that we would make up for this in any way you thought was appropriate. Anyways, we wish that one day we will make up to you. The overall experience left me a bit underwhelmed. The fortress of Lesendro was never pointed out to us or spoken about by the guide. On the website it says you can explore the bird reserve (I assume it meant the whole national park) but there really weren't many birds, not a great variety of species to see, and they were all very far away, hard to see even with binoculars. The monastery Kom, it was quite nice walking around the grounds but the monastery itself was closed, would've been nice to go inside. After the monastery, it was a straight boat drive back to Virpazar for over an hour and that got very boring.

I was hoping the guide would stop somewhere to let us go for a swim in the lake, as it says on the website, but he never did! Very disappointing, since that was promised on the itinerary.

But with good weather like we had, the lake was beautiful, nice people in charge of the boat cruise, nice boat, the water, wine and homemade doughballs were a really nice touch too.

Dear Ben, We are sincerely sorry that you had an experience last year with our company, which left you underwhelmed. We are sad and disappointed that our guide did not fulfil its job and satisfy your wishes and needs. Before all, we are sorry that the itinerary wasn't done as promised. As a manager and representative, I feel disappointed that you did not get what you expected and quite frankly - there are no excuses. On the other hand, I know that now there's nothing to do to improve your impressions of our previous encounter. I will ask you to come and visit again whenever you come by - we will provide you with a tour at our expense. Hopefully, we will show you Lake Skadar and its surroundings in a better and more enjoyable way. Thank you for taking the time to write your sincere words. It means a lot for us to get your feedback as we constantly aim to improve our business and satisfy every traveller we host. Once again, we are sorry for any bad feelings and inconveniences that have been caused by individuals in our company. Regards, KINGFISHER TEAM Milica Vujošević

The boat ride was totaly boring. Our tour lasted for 2 hours which felt like forever. It was a very low speed ride while everyone on the boat were sleeping and wishing to return back. The driver (guide) wasn’t very explicit, he was too busy talking over the phone than talking about the attractions. I wish I never accepted this one and have found some nicer place to spend time at. It was a total waste of time and money. The views are nice, but not wow though. Don’t get trapped by the internet pics taken by drones.

Dear Natalia, We are sorry that you aren't satisfied with the boat tour we have provided for you. We find the behaviour of our driver not professional and will ensure that, in the future, these inconveniences don't occur. Thank you for mentioning that drone photos aren't the best way to represent our products. We listened to your suggestion and made new product photos - to bring truthfully the sceneries seen during the tours. On the other hand, we are sorry you did not come directly to us and address these issues. We would either provide the information you want to know, give you a partial refund, or kayak for the day... We would give our best to make it right with you. In any case, the next time you come to Virpazar please come to us - we will provide you with a free ride and make sure you have a memorable and beautiful experience on Lake Skadar. Sincerely, Kingfisher team
