      Superb cooking classes
I enjoyed an afternoon cooking class so much at CookInn Taiwan a few days ago that I returned the following day to do another class! The classes take place in a city centre location, in a lovely spacious, airy room with big windows. The facilties are top notch with each participant having their own cooking station. But the real draw here is the skilled, professional, friendly and warm teachers. Both Angela and Chelsea were charming and warm and the classes couldn't have been better. There's no standing around watching at these classes - you get hands on experience from the start and the teachers are eager to answer questions and make sure everyone is happy. Needless to say, the dishes we cooked were wonderfully tasty (we sat down and ate everything at the end of the class) and I feel confident enough to have a go making the recipes at home. Recipe booklet provided but we could take photos along the way. I highly recommend CookInn Taiwan if you want to learn how to make some Taiwanese dishes. Thanks to the cooking school for enhancing my short visit to Taipei.

Delicious Dumplings and Cooking Class @ CookInn Taiwan
Great experience and class in Taipei! Lynn was a great and patient teacher and she made sure to give everyone time and attention and was very clear while teaching. We made xiao long bao soup dumplings (including the dough!) and while we made the cucumber salad side and boba for our tea, they steamed the dumplings for us so we can eat our delicious creations. I’d highly recommend this class, and the other classes at CookInn Taiwan also all looked great. Totally worth it :)

Such a great and memorable family experience in Taiwan!
This is our second class with Cookinn. We took the Taiwanese Street Food class before, and we had so much fun that we signed up for the Taiwanese Gourmet Meal on our most recent trip to Taiwan. Again, it was such a fun experience for our family to do together. Our teacher, Diana, was completely fluent in both Mandarin and English, and she not only shared cooking instructions but also the cultural history of Taiwan and the food that we were preparing also. Very clean and modern facilities, and the little attention to detail (like the peronalized photo recipes at the end) were wonderful. Our kids ranged from 8 to 15 years old, and they all loved it! And the best part is we were all able to share our "made from scratch" meal together at the end.

Brilliant Cooking Adventure and Delicious Food
It was super amazing to join the Street Food Cooking Class. At first, I wanted to join the Pastry and Oolong class, but unfortunately, there were too less people who wanted to join - so I'll have to come back :) Then, it got the offer to join the Street Food Cooking Class instead, and I definitely don't regret it. It was so much fun with the team of CookInn Taiwan and the whole group, who joined. We also got the recipes, so it's now a pleasure for me to cook the food while being back in Germany.

Great Cooking Class in Taipei (English Language)
Great class! Informative and fun. The facilities were clean and well equipped. Our instructor (Lydia) was helpful and friendly. It was an English language cooking class and we had no problems understanding the directions. We liked the class a lot and would definitely do it again.

Perfect class length for young kids
Our family did the street food cooking class. Was able to book it a week prior, though we would've preferred a different class but that wasn't available for another few weeks -- my recommendation is to book this as soon as you know you're interested. Nonetheless, the street food class was perfect for our family, which included three kids ages 5, 8 and 11. The class length was just the right amount of time -- not too short, and not too long. The class instructor (Lydia) was super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean (with the helpers there working throughout the class to maintain things well). The recipes were straightforward and simple enough for everyone to follow along. My wife and kids all said they had a lot of fun and that it was a great/new experience that they'd be very interested in doing again. Online booking process was pretty easy, and the pre- and post-class communications were very organized. Location-wise, it was easy to get to from the MRT station.

Wonderful teacher, beautiful space, and delicious food. Not sure I have mastered making a dumpling, but I'm one step closer. What more can you want :)

Cooking with Angela and her amazing team
Angela is an amazing instructor. She’s funny and welcoming. She gave as much individual attention as possible in a group class. We made some delicious food. I would highly recommend this classes. I will definitely make good use of the lessons I learned. Great tips on how to wrap/gold the soup dumplings. Many thanks Angela and her team.

      Highly recommended!
I was so glad my husband and I included this activity in our itinerary! Diana, our instructor/chef masterfully led the class and injected humor and fun at every turn! The choices for the dishes were complimentary, and I must say were actually big portions, so if there is any advice that I would give those wanting to do this class - come with an empty stomach or a take out container!! Definitely recommending this to our friends and family back home! Ps. I love how they were considerate about one of the students preference for no meat - so they had special ingredients just for her!!

The class was wonderful! Going to a local market with Chelsea, our instructor, was a great opportunity to ask lots of questions and learn more about local ingredients. The cooking class was lovely, with simple steps and a bright, tidy work space. The food we made was so delicious! Absolutely everything was so tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience Taiwanese food with a local to guide you!

I took the class as a solo traveler and had a great time! The classroom was quite easy to find, especially off the MRT station. Maggie and Peggy were awesome, teaching us about certain foods at the market and flavours in the classroom. They also were very personable and kept things light throughout the class. The actual cooking was also made easy with their careful instructions. We made xiao long baos, beef noodle soup, cucumber salad and bubble tea. The very best part was the end, when we were able to eat what we made!
After class, they emailed me a bunch of candid photos which were taken of us. To be honest, I didn't even notice them taking pics during the session :)
Overall, I definitely recommend this class to travellers to Taipei as you get to make (in my opinion) 3 of the top iconic Taiwanese foods.

What a fantastic experience! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this fund and educational class. The instructor was top-notch. She had everything organized perfectly, she took her time and explained everything as we walked through markets, and let us really explore the marketplace. When we got back to the cooking class, we all had our own prep and cooking stations, everything was kept spotlessly clean, and we had lovely fresh ingredients to work with. The end result was classic, tasty Taiwan dishes that we enjoyed eating at the end of the class. If you are choosing a class that will be worth the money, this is the one!

I had a great time learning to cook from Angela. Her teaching was detailed and provided alternative to ingredients if the ingredient was hard to find in our country. Main attraction of the lesson was making Xiao Long Bao from scratch. The beef noodle was mainly demonstration as it takes a long time to cook the beef to tenderness. I will definitely try making the recipe at home. Thank you for the experience

Chelsea is a wonderful teacher and is very passionate about food. She was very attentive when I struggled to make Xiao Long Bao and patient when I asked her questions at the local market. At the end of the course, you are provided with a delightful recipe book with instructions and pictures of the meals you made in the course. If you're coming to Taipei and want to take home something memorable from your time in Taiwan, then I highly recommend Cookinn.

This was an awesome experience! I was a little hesitant because of the price, but it was worth it because we could eat what we made - and we made a lot! With the cost of all the ingredients, as well as being taught how to make everything in a small group setting, I’d say the price is reasonable. The instructor was great! She was very helpful and super enthusiastic. I am looking into more of these classes for the future.

Great experience to learn about the country's food history and culture. The instructor was very patient and friendly when making Xiao long bao. We were there with my parents and boys 13 & 11 and all enjoyefd The studio is clean, well organized and cool air conditioned. If going by MRT exit 6 of Zongshan station brings you very close to the venue.

An amazing experience with a hospitable chef host! Small group, good instructions, great time. Although I haven't yet mastered the art of Xiao Long Bao, it was great to understand the creative process behind those bites, as well as bubble tea and beef soup.

My daugter in law booked a cooking session with CookInn Taiwan for the session to learn how to prepare taiwan Beef Noodle, dumpling and bubble tea.
The venue is big, the staff amazing and the intructions very easy to follow. Staff speak Chinese and English and you get the recipes to take home.
The classes are well strucured and the ingredients prepared. This outing in my opinion is a must for visitors to Taipei that would like to prepare some Asian dishes.
The walk through the Asian market is extremely interesting and the "new" vegetables and fruits a treat!

Really fun experience and definitely beat my expectations.

Morning visit to the market was quite fun. We thought we wouldn’t get much as we have quite some experience going around traditional markets but the guide (Chelsea) showed us some hidden gems in the market we couldn’t easily get elsewhere

The cooking class itself was also designed to be very approachable - the steps were very easy to follow even for our 6yo and 4 yo. We also found out some very nice techniques and tips that we will use in our day to day cooking

The facility itself was also very beautiful, clean and spacious and the service was really amazing
