Do NOT miss this class on your trip to Taiwan
This class was one of the highlights of my trip to Taiwan. The class was the perfect size so all the participants had an opportunity to get to know each other - encouraged by our amazing instructor. Everything was well organized and help was always available on an individual basis. The “kitchen classroom” was spotless and sanitary. Anyone who has even a small interest in cooking or in Taiwan’s unique cuisine should not miss this class. And learning the techniques and the recipes is probably the best souvenir you can take back home with you to recreate wonderful memories of Taiwan. Sign up early!

      Amazing Taiwanese Gourment Cooking Class
What an amazing class, hands on, very informative and super fun. Our instructor was great with explaining ingredients and providing additional context around certain dishes. The cooking school was also able to accommodate all dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend the Taiwanese Gourment Cooking Class to all foodies.

An amazing day learning how to make Xiao Long Boa, Cucumber Salad and Bubble Milk Tea
Thank you CookInn for an amazing 2 hour cooking class. We did the Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings), Seasonal Greens, and Bubble Milk Tea class. When looking for a cooking class in Taiwan you should definitely choose CookInn. The company was amazing to work with and our Chef, Diana was amazing. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. We all learned so much from her and our girls loved learning how to make Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings). It’s one of their favorite things to eat. Our girls are 5, 7 and 8 and this cooking class kept them engaged the entire 2 hours. It was such a fun day and we highly recommend CookInn.

      Superb cooking classes
I enjoyed an afternoon cooking class so much at CookInn Taiwan a few days ago that I returned the following day to do another class! The classes take place in a city centre location, in a lovely spacious, airy room with big windows. The facilties are top notch with each participant having their own cooking station. But the real draw here is the skilled, professional, friendly and warm teachers. Both Angela and Chelsea were charming and warm and the classes couldn't have been better. There's no standing around watching at these classes - you get hands on experience from the start and the teachers are eager to answer questions and make sure everyone is happy. Needless to say, the dishes we cooked were wonderfully tasty (we sat down and ate everything at the end of the class) and I feel confident enough to have a go making the recipes at home. Recipe booklet provided but we could take photos along the way. I highly recommend CookInn Taiwan if you want to learn how to make some Taiwanese dishes. Thanks to the cooking school for enhancing my short visit to Taipei.

Delicious Dumplings and Cooking Class @ CookInn Taiwan
Great experience and class in Taipei! Lynn was a great and patient teacher and she made sure to give everyone time and attention and was very clear while teaching. We made xiao long bao soup dumplings (including the dough!) and while we made the cucumber salad side and boba for our tea, they steamed the dumplings for us so we can eat our delicious creations. I’d highly recommend this class, and the other classes at CookInn Taiwan also all looked great. Totally worth it :)

Such a great and memorable family experience in Taiwan!
This is our second class with Cookinn. We took the Taiwanese Street Food class before, and we had so much fun that we signed up for the Taiwanese Gourmet Meal on our most recent trip to Taiwan. Again, it was such a fun experience for our family to do together. Our teacher, Diana, was completely fluent in both Mandarin and English, and she not only shared cooking instructions but also the cultural history of Taiwan and the food that we were preparing also. Very clean and modern facilities, and the little attention to detail (like the peronalized photo recipes at the end) were wonderful. Our kids ranged from 8 to 15 years old, and they all loved it! And the best part is we were all able to share our "made from scratch" meal together at the end.

Brilliant Cooking Adventure and Delicious Food
It was super amazing to join the Street Food Cooking Class. At first, I wanted to join the Pastry and Oolong class, but unfortunately, there were too less people who wanted to join - so I'll have to come back :) Then, it got the offer to join the Street Food Cooking Class instead, and I definitely don't regret it. It was so much fun with the team of CookInn Taiwan and the whole group, who joined. We also got the recipes, so it's now a pleasure for me to cook the food while being back in Germany.

Great Cooking Class in Taipei (English Language)
Great class! Informative and fun. The facilities were clean and well equipped. Our instructor (Lydia) was helpful and friendly. It was an English language cooking class and we had no problems understanding the directions. We liked the class a lot and would definitely do it again.

Perfect class length for young kids
Our family did the street food cooking class. Was able to book it a week prior, though we would've preferred a different class but that wasn't available for another few weeks -- my recommendation is to book this as soon as you know you're interested. Nonetheless, the street food class was perfect for our family, which included three kids ages 5, 8 and 11. The class length was just the right amount of time -- not too short, and not too long. The class instructor (Lydia) was super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean (with the helpers there working throughout the class to maintain things well). The recipes were straightforward and simple enough for everyone to follow along. My wife and kids all said they had a lot of fun and that it was a great/new experience that they'd be very interested in doing again. Online booking process was pretty easy, and the pre- and post-class communications were very organized. Location-wise, it was easy to get to from the MRT station.

I am Japanese and participated with my mother and sister. I made a reservation on a website called Cookly.

On the day, we relied on Google Maps to find the location that was sent to us by email. The classroom is on the second floor of the building, so it was hard to find in the building, but there was a sign for the classroom in front of the building, so we were able to find it without getting lost.

The floor where the lesson was held was very clean, so there were no concerns about hygiene.
I took a two-hour course (in Japanese) to make Xiaolongbao, beef noodles, side dishes, and tapioca milk tea, and the staff were very efficient and made the work easy.
For Xiaolongbao, you can do the whole process from making the dough to shaping it yourself.
For other menus, the staff were in charge of some parts due to time constraints, but the ratio of parts that you make yourself and the parts that the staff will take care of and the selection of the steps were exquisite.

The teacher who taught the lesson was also very nice, and we had a lot of fun talking to each other as we learned how to make the dishes. I think it's fun to participate with friends, family, couples, etc., but you can also enjoy it by yourself.
We were given information about the ingredients used, where to buy them, and even a recipe at the end, so I thought it would be easy to recreate the recipe at home after the lesson.

The teacher also took lots of photos during the lesson and sent the data to us later, so we were able to have a great time looking at the photos after we returned home.

It was a slightly different experience from a normal trip, and we had something to look forward to after we got home, so it was a really wonderful time. It's also easily accessible (it's about halfway between Taipei Station and Zhongshan Station, about a 10-minute walk from either), so I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Taiwan in the future!

We signed up for the Xiao Long Bao & Beef Noodles class. After a short mix up with the address (they have two locations) which they quickly sorted, we joined a group of eight others preparing a great blend of traditional Taiwanese classics. We made the Xiao Long Bao individually, including the dough, filling and the hard task of wrapping. We also individually made a simple, but fun-to-make Taiwanese cucumber salad, while the Beef Noodles we prepared as a group and saw how to make the Boba (Bubble Tea). The three hours flew by and was facilitated by the extremely entertaining, super friendly and very smiley Angela. 5/5.

This was such a fun and memorable experience to include in our itinerary in Taipei! Angela was a fun and engaging teacher, especially in the technique to make the soup dumplings. While I can’t say we made all parts of the beef noodle soup and boba tea (the beef, soup, and noodles were mostly prepped before hand and the boba balls are from a package), we learned the basic techniques, ingredients, and great pointers for how to easily make at home. All components of the soup dumplings were made from scratch and we each ate our own handmade xiaolongbao! :)

We were also given a recipe booklet at the end of the experience to make the dishes at home. All of the dishes were delicious, especially the soup dumplings. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys cooking and Taiwanese food.

I had a great time learning to cook from Angela. Her teaching was detailed and provided alternative to ingredients if the ingredient was hard to find in our country. Main attraction of the lesson was making Xiao Long Bao from scratch. The beef noodle was mainly demonstration as it takes a long time to cook the beef to tenderness. I will definitely try making the recipe at home. Thank you for the experience

Great experience to learn about the country's food history and culture. The instructor was very patient and friendly when making Xiao long bao. We were there with my parents and boys 13 & 11 and all enjoyefd The studio is clean, well organized and cool air conditioned. If going by MRT exit 6 of Zongshan station brings you very close to the venue.

Chelsea was an amazing teacher! When she takes you to the market, she will offer many details about the vendors and their products. I had been to traditional markets before, but knowing about the people who work there makes it much more authentic. The technique she shows you to make xiao long baos yields delicious and perfect little buns even for a first timer. If you're vegan, do not worry as you will be able to have all the dishes with vegan ingredients!

This was an awesome experience! I was a little hesitant because of the price, but it was worth it because we could eat what we made - and we made a lot! With the cost of all the ingredients, as well as being taught how to make everything in a small group setting, I’d say the price is reasonable. The instructor was great! She was very helpful and super enthusiastic. I am looking into more of these classes for the future.

The class was wonderful! Going to a local market with Chelsea, our instructor, was a great opportunity to ask lots of questions and learn more about local ingredients. The cooking class was lovely, with simple steps and a bright, tidy work space. The food we made was so delicious! Absolutely everything was so tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience Taiwanese food with a local to guide you!

Chelsea is a wonderful teacher and is very passionate about food. She was very attentive when I struggled to make Xiao Long Bao and patient when I asked her questions at the local market. At the end of the course, you are provided with a delightful recipe book with instructions and pictures of the meals you made in the course. If you're coming to Taipei and want to take home something memorable from your time in Taiwan, then I highly recommend Cookinn.
