Antigua Reef Riders Self-Drive Boat and Snorkeling Tour
From US$130.00
Drive your own inflatable Reef Rider boat to explore the West Coast of Antigua. This 10-foot (3-meter) boat is compact enough to access the smallest and shallowest lagoons, teeming with marine life. Slip on the provided mask, fins, and snorkel to dive in and see the wrasse, stingrays, lobster, and parrotfish that inhabit the reef. A guide accompanies your group the whole time to ensure your safety and comfort.
What to Expect
Begin your day's adventure with convenient pickup from your hotel and then enjoy a quick island tour on the way to Jolly Harbour. Meet your guide and listen to an in-depth orientation and safety briefing on your inflatable, 2-person boat with a 25-horsepower motor. Get fitted for a life vest and snorkeling equipment and then jump into your boat with your partner and off you go. Follow your guide (in their own boat) through the marina and out into the open water, where you can hit the gas and really get up some speed.

On the way to Cades Reef, take in views of Darkwood Beach, Fryes Bay, and Valley Church Bay. Upon arrival at Cades Reef, slip into your snorkel gear and spend about 45 minutes exploring Antigua's National Marine Park, home to a variety of fish and other marine life.

Back on the boat, head toward the mainland. During the return trip, you can attempt some boat tricks, such as doughnuts and figure eights, under the supervision of your guide. Arrive at the marina and transfer to your tour coach for drop-off back at your hotel.
