Visit: Harrison's Cave, Welchman Hall Barbados
Guests will arrive in the carpark and proceed through the main entrance through the Visitor Reception Center, to the ticketing booth where payment is remitted and guests are issued with a boarding pass. Guests are then given instructions on where to board the tram for their tour.
The adventure begins with your descent from the cliff top to the valley floor, either by elevator or walking the footpath. On reaching the valley floor, you will be invited to spend some time in the Cave Interpretive Centre where there are exhibits and displays detailing the history and geology of the island and the cave. A ten minute video presentation is shown before you gear up with your helmets and board the tram accompanied by your guide and driver. Be prepared to spend an exhilarating forty minutes down under as you travel through the winding cave passages on an electric tram. Expect to see the crystal formations, still pools and rushing streams as you explore this living cave. Grab the opportunity when given to get off the tram to take photographs and have a closer view of the formations. It is an experience you will never forget!
