Our driver, Agustin, picked us up promptly at Amber Cove and took us to Damajagua for an unforgettable adventure. From zip lining to waterfall slides and cliff jumping, the experience was thrilling and well-organized. Agustin was waiting for us as soon as we finished, and we enjoy a delicious buffet-style Dominican lunch, which was the perfect way to refuel after all the excitement. Rigo Pop Dominican Travel was recommended by friends who visit the Dominican Republic often, and we’re so glad we listened! We had a blast with our driver and made memories that our family will never forget. The prices were awesome and communication was exceptional. We rented a private tour of the D.R. and our driver, Tìo showed up in a really big luxury van that had seating for eleven people, great AC and WiFi. He took us all over the island, we saw beautiful views, went to a chocolate factory and played with a bunch of adorable squirrel monkeys. The whole team that we met made us feel at home and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will use them again the next time we go to the Dominican Republic!

Rigo was great! We had a nice time visiting shops in Pluerto Plata. We got A LOT of steps in! Wear your sneakers and pack your sunscreen!

I was completely impressed with everything about the ATV excursion!! The customer service was top notch and everyone was so personable and helpful. From the ship,the excursion and back to the ship- the tour was exciting,fun, and I was able to see parts of the area that I would not normally see. I would recommend this company and all their tours to anyone!! The price was so reasonable for all the adventures we had!! The vans were new and very comfortable! Rigo is your man if your want to see and hear about his great country. We did the city tour with our kids and had a great time. The weather was rainy, windy, and chilly so we didn't get a great beach day but he took us to a beach side restaurant. Not only was he our driver & tour guide he was also our photographer. We really enjoyed umbrella Street and pink street. Will definitely book another tour when we make it back.

We had a great time in Puerto Plata with Rigo. Rigo is very friendly, personable, professional and knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning the history of Puerto Plata and spending time touring the city. The highlights of our tour was the rum factory, cigar factory and dune buggy riding. Rigo took very good care of my family and friends. He made sure we was back to the port on time!

As usual, I will send Rigo a text and check his availability on the date that I am flying in to Santiago. Rigo usually responds within a reasonable time, and its just that easy. Rigo, or whoever he sends to get me is always right on time, and gets me where I need to go just as scheduled. I always use Rigo's services any time I go to the Dominican Republic due to his reliability. The costs from Santiago to Puerto Plata or Sosua for a round trip usually runs pretty close to $200, and Im not sure if there are better prices, but for me the key is the reliability. He's always there when I need him, so I choose to go with Rigo.

Everything about our day was perfect and even better than we expected. Prior to our trip, Rigo was an excellent communicator and was always quick to reply to my inquiries. The morning of our excursion, Rigo was waiting for us outside of the port in a clean, new van with air conditioner. He greeted us and off we went! Our first stop was the Damajagua waterfalls. Here, Rigo waited patiently as we prepared for our adventure, helped translate as needed, ensured we had shoes, helmets, and life jackets. The waterfalls were gorgeous! After this amazing experience, Rigo was right there to help us get ready for the rest of our day. We drove to the beach, where we had a private, beachfront meal for lunch. Fish, chicken, fresh avocados, fried plantains, rice, beans, and drinks— every bit of it was delicious! From here, Rigo took us to the city where we were able to visit many interesting places. From the chocolate factory, cigar factory, and shopping spots to pink street, umbrella street and the square with pigeons & parliament, there was so much to see and take in! Not only did Rigo ensure that we had a wonderful experience in the Dominican Republic, he also shared so much about his country and the culture. He also took every opportunity to make sure that our memories were captured on camera. We never had to ask him for a picture, as he was always anticipating what we might want to capture. We cannot wait to go back and would book with Rigo in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed if you book your day with him. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
