Stop At: El Yunque Rain Forest, El Yunque National Forest Puerto Rico

Thank you for taking the time to read this description. Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in September of 2017. This massive hurricane wiped out Puerto Rico and our rainforest. It will take several years for the forest to grow back. Currently it is only partially open. Until it fully opens, which may take time, I have been conducting another forest, waterfall, trail, hiking adventure Successfully, since 2017. It is called a Hike to a Hidden waterfall Adventure from San Juan. This tour is located right here on Trip Advisor, Trip advisor Experience and Viator a trip advisor company. The description is there so you learn and see what to expect when you come with me and explore Puerto Rico.

The hike was amazing! You really do get to experience and see the beauty of the rain forest and the waterfall at the end was quite extraordinary. The best part of the trip however was our guide Hector! I will suffice to say that we...More

This will be a highlight of your trip to PR. You hike up the mountain along streams and learn about the flora and fauna along the way. But you can do that on any hiking trip, right? This is different, largely because our guide, Hector,...More

This was probably one of the most memorable experiences in PR or really, anywhere I have traveled for that matter! Hector's energy and spirit was really a highlight on this trip; he was knowledgeable about the history and plants. Tips: In terms of the hike,...More

The hike can be strenuous and the day is a long one. It is not suitable for young children. There is a half day trip available. This might be better for children. Check with the company for guidelines.

Keep in mind it’s more of a hike than a tour. We were actually hiking for about two hours with a half hour to one hour swimming break. So in total three hours plus at least one hour for lunch and another hour and a half for... More
