      Did not pick us up!
We booked and paid through TripAdvisor. The operator did not show up. I called their number. They did not answer. I sent them an email. They did not respond. We walked around instead. I requested a refund. I just received and email telling me they will not refund my money but are sorry that my plans did not work out! Tried to save some money not booking from the cruise. Sadly I will not be using TripAdvisor again

      Snorkeling was phenomenal!
The snorkel spot was fantastic and some of the most beautiful I’ve seen. However the communication was a bit lacking. The employees at the front desk barely spoke English and were not able to answer some of our questions. The captain also didn’t speak much English and had to use other tour guests as translators. However, the tour itself was beautiful and the rum punch and fresh fruit that were served were delicious and cold. The bat cave was an added bonus place to stop. Our boat had a shade canopy but there others that we saw that didn’t. One tip is bring your own snorkel gear because they don’t provide it but you can rent it from them for $5.

      Ok if you’re French speaking!
Communication not the best ( unless you are French speaking!) was confusing to locate and no-one responding to messages to clarify. No apparent health and safety briefing. We booked specifically to see turtles, our first stop was an hour at a beach which was most unexpected ( not exactly in the description) we were left confused, and although to be fair the captain did attempt a couple of google translates for us on the whole we felt very excluded as all the other people were French. We then went on to look at the coastline, a cave and a snorkelling site and we were left wondering if we were ever going to get the to the turtles….we finally did, albeit 2 at the most. A fresh fruit platter was prepared which was a nice touch then we raced across the waves back ( whilst we were hanging on for dear life the Captain/driver was looking at his phone/ making calls!) Would we do it again… no.

      Gear not included
I booked this on line as a snorkeling trip , it says it in the title . It doesn't however include snorkeling gear which is an extra 5 or a cup for the drinks, extra 2. Absolutely infuriating that it wouldn't include the supplies for the booked activities. The captain only spoke French and gave the tour in French to a boat load of Americans and one French couple. It's a French island but that should also be noted in the tour description. It was a rough day and everyone had to sit in the back of the boat to crash through the big waves. This really scared people who were not used to boats. And standing while crashing through waves was difficult. The biggest concern was that he would of left guests. We had an hour and fifteen at a beach . At about the hour mark, many of us were at the boat. He pulled out and left 2 people . Luckily they were yelling and he pulled back in. They were not late , he just didn't count the guests . There were only 10 of us . Pros: The assistant from St. Lucia was very nice. We did see Sea Turtles and fish . I enjoyed the fast rough boat ride but am on boats often.

Disappointing and late pick up and late stops
Michael arrived 45 minutes late for our pickup. I messaged him 5 times without a response. If you go to the address listed, it is a roundabout. It is by the ferry on the dock. Difficult to find with no instructions. Our first stop was Anse Beach for 45 minutes. We waited on the dock 20 past the departure time. I went looking for the guide and he was in a restaurant where he could see our group waiting for him. The three stops to snorkel were nice but shortened due to the guides' tardiness. We saw one turtle, no whales or dolphins. This tour is in French. This would be a nice tour had the guide had the paying guests' interests ahead of his own. Shoes were not allowed on board. They were taken from us and put in a cupboard. My partner has trouble with his feet and ended up with 5 cuts, the boat ladder and beach. Water shoes should be allowed. Again, it was the guide.

Read Review Carefully - 2 Good boats, One crew is a scam
This is my first time writing a negative review. Below are the following reasons: 1.) Difficult to find the starting point on the excursion. Its right on the dock but posting makes it look like you have to find the store. No one new the store. 2.) Trip was suppose to start at 11:45. After finding the place it now was to start at 1:30. 3.) I paid around $175 for Sea Turtles and Snorkeling. We get to snorkel place and they tell me the costs doesnt include snorkel equipment. Complete scam! They said to rent is $5 per mask and snorkel. I needed two of them and gave them a $20 and waited for change. They then said it was $10 Euros which is $20 US. Complete Scam! 4.) The included items were snacks, alcholic beverages, and beverages. I asked for a drink. The younger lady that translated English told me that drinks are included but I have to pay $5 to get a cup. Complete Scam. Fortunately main guy said no drinks were include. 5.) Only problem is the boat didn't have any drinks. They only had one small think of water and some rum tequilla. Gave people that asked one shot. 6.) Other boats that we connected on tour were having a blast with lots of drinks. 7.) Main guy was fun and happy but seemed more interested in hooking up then running a tour. 8.) Boat ride was rough and boat provided no cushions. Couple times he hit big waves and my wife felt unsafe. 9.) I did not see Sea Turtles on excursion. Others did but I would probably not reference Sea Turtles. 10.) Positive was first stop was cool for snorkeling. 11.) Tour is catered to people speaking French. That is fine but thought signed up for English tour. 12.) I thought the tour guide was drunk from the first trip. I wish I got my money returned but just happy to be back alive. On Positive note the other groups having the same tour on different boat looked like they were having a blast.

The best speed boat trip in the Caribbean!!
We were on a Caribbean cruise and didn't know much about Martinique. We disembarked the ship looking for something to do (nothing pre planned) and came across Kairi Dream booking boat trips. It was €60 each and for about 4 hours which was perfect for us for getting back on the ship. THIS TRIP WAS AMAZING !!!! We first went to a bat cave only accessed by the sea then went to a great snorkeling spot with info on what fish you were seeing. We then went to a spot known for turtles and there were turtles a plenty all swimming round in their natural habitat. They were enjoying eating the plants on the seabed rather than the boat trip people feeding them which seems a bit false to me. Some of the turtles were huge and so majestic. This trip will stay in my memory forever and I will recommend to anyone who wants to listen. Just the best. Merci Kairi dream, Merci

Absolutely fabulous experience. Better than advertised. Michael is a total professional and knows the island very well. The food is fantastic, the water is beautiful and the entire tour is impeccable.

BEWARE, Kairi Dream turns into Kairi Nightmare!
We previously enjoyed two excursions with Kairi Dream, which were run by a very happy and helpful Italian Lady called Gabby, so we thought we would book it again, taking our family with us on this occasion. We had an on-going email conversation with Kairi Dream, which unfortunately now has new business owners. We felt well assured that everything was booked, with them confirming that we could pay just before we boarded the excursion, as we did previously. When we arrived in Martinique, we thought we would just touch base with their rep to make sure everything was ok for our afternoon excursion. We explained that some of our party needed to exchange dollars to euros, so will pay before we board, as discussed in our emails, to which their rep was absolutely happy with this. Obviously if at any point they requested on-line payment prior to the day, we would have done so, we even asked if they wanted card payment or euros, but they were happy with euros before boarding the boat. We went off and explored the island for a few hours and returned at 12.30pm, half an hour earlier than we needed to be there, to ensure we had plenty of time to pay and get ready for our adventure. To our horror, when we returned we were told by the same rep that we spoke to in the morning (Cynthia), that she had some bad news, “we were no longer going on the trip as the captain/skipper had sold our seats and the boat was not coming in to get us”! As you can imagine we were very upset, as we were all really looking forward to the trip, especially our two young grandsons. It had been booked for two months and we had done everything that was asked of us. We can only think that they thought they could get some extra money, if they took on adults paying the full rate rather than the reduced child rate. Based on their truly unprofessional way of running their business, we would certainly recommend everyone steers clear and uses another company for their excursions. Planning in advance obviously gets you absolutely nowhere with Kairi Dream. They are just out to make money however they can, and don’t care who they let down in the process, ruining tourists experience of Martinique.

      Seriously? Asocial business!
Anti Social company. Comes with bv a big boat with loud radio into a small bay where chrildren and families are swimming. Anchors in the middle, pumps up the volume and stays hanging for a hour. Skipper also drinks. Probably thinking he’s doing everybody a favour! Why do you think that everybody should listen to your horrible taste of musak? Was planning to book a trip. But you can forget that!

      Lovely day at sea
Did a full day-trip with KairiDream. Watching dolphins, turtles and lovely places along the Martinique Coast. I've never seen so much Dolphins in one hour and the hospitality of Michael (our guide and Captain) was great. I recommend this tour and would do it again.

Great Day out with Gabi of Kairi Dream
My wife and I stopped of at Martinique whilst cruising on the Britannia. Booked this through Trip Advisor before we left the UK and we were not disappointed! We were due to meet at 8am but our ship was late in (by 35 mins). Gabi was brilliant, She phoned me around 7.55am and told me that she would go and pick up other clients and she'd be back! We emerged from the ship as soon as we could and what do you know....the Kairi Dream boat was floating just offshore. A shout and a wave and Gabi skillfully pulled the boat up against a nearby jetty/harbour-side and within 15 minutes, we were out in the open water, watching Dolphins and Pilot Whales. This trip was awesome and worth every penny. Gabi was a fantastic host (and Captain). We were given soft drinks, water, fruit and more on board, we had lunch at a lovely beach bar/cabana (local chicken and rice), we stopped at 2 or 3 snorkel sites, drove into the "bat cave", swam with turtles, and more. Super-fast boat made it even more fun....some tight turns with lots of spray....but always under-control from a very professional young business owner. Best of luck with your business Gabi....we'll certainly come back out for a day with you if we visit Martinique in the future.....looks like an amazing island (saw loads in one day, but there is obviously lots, lots more!) Cheers Tony and Jo Wellings

      No show
Despite me arranging via email and then confirming with me...KairiDream promised to send me pick up instructions. I sent them an email several times but never heard back. We showed up at the port hoping to see them. But there was no sign of them. They had my cell phone so could have phoned. Very disappointed in the unprofessional way this was handled.

Premise: the port authorities did not bother to let the passengers off the cruise ship before 08:20.
Even though we had warned Karidream, the staff on board did not wait for the customers who had paid for the excursion.
    And they went away.
Their solution, after we went to look for the office at our own expense, was to propose that we do the afternoon excursion different from the one we had chosen because the reimbursement was not foreseen because "it was our fault for the delay even if the ship wouldn't let us off."
They took us to a disgusting beach that was only suitable as a pier to hold boats.
The ending was that we called a taxi to return to the ship and travel 45 minutes for €80 clearly at our expense but it didn't matter, the important thing was that this nightmare ended as soon as possible.
They have a hard time making themselves understood, they are poorly organised, they make fun of jokes.
    Not recommended for excursions.
    Zero seriousness be careful.

Unfortunately, there was neither the snack nor fresh fruit promised on the internet.
Unfortunately, I was stung by jellyfish while snorkeling.
There was no information about the dolphins. But on the other boats, too, the people seemed to be more interested in rum and partying.
We did see a few dolphins, though.

Fantastic experience , we booked the day trip and what a fabulous day it was. Well organised , fun , informative and we saw lots of dolphins and turtles in their natural habitat. Gréât respect for nature and not disturbing the animals as they eat and hunt. Thoroughly enjoyable day, definitely a holiday highlight. Couldn’t recommend it more!

A really lovely trip . Captain Morgan was very welcoming and informative. The highlights were seeing a pod of dolphins , listening to the bats in the bat cave and snorkelling in the utterly beautiful coral reef. Thank you it was an unforgettable trip .

We visited Martinique in February by cruiseship and had prebooked this excursion several weeks prior.
    First, the good:
Martinique was lovely. The boat arrived at the dock and our party of three boarded.
The day was beautiful and the water was calm and very blue. We did see quite a few dolphins at 2 different locations.
    Now the Bad:
During booking communication, it was stressed that we did not speak French in 3 different e-mails and that we required (as advertised) an English guide. This was confirmed with us and we were assured that there would be an English guide. However, when we got on the boat, it was soon obvious that the captain only spoke French and there was no one to translate. Therefore, we went out in a boat but didn't get any information during the entire 2 1/2 hrs.
When our party of 3 boarded, the boat was already quite full so that my husband and I were separated and he was placed in the back of the boat and I was at the front, sitting on the only available seat, which was the storage box. All I could really see was the raised front of the boat. Also, we were given no safety instruction and there were no life jackets in evidence. When I went back to give my husband the camera, it was apparent that he had a great seat! I was told to return to my seat at the front. Of the approx. 15 people on board - there were 5 who spoke only English!
This was definately not the tour we had hoped for and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Hi, I think you have your trip with another company. The front of the boat? That's not our boat!! We never separate customers. It can happen in roof sea for safety but that's not common. And you say that "the sea was calm". Happily Martinique "was lovely" and you see "dolphins in 2 differents spots". And that "the day was beautiful".

Expedia sold us this excursion as English speaking Dolphin and Whsle Watching. This was not the case. The guide only spoke French and we did not understand anything he said. To his credit, on a few occasions he used Google Translate on his phone to try and explain a couple of points. Expedia also failed to mention that snorkelling/swimming was included. My husband and I could not participate because we had no swim gear with us. Although it seems that Expedia and Viator have a serious communication problem, Kairidream should take some blame for not being on top of what third party sales is writing about their excursion to ensure accuracy.
