      Amazing experience!!!! So much wildlife!!!!
We had an absolute amazing experience! First of all, our guide, Edwin was INCREDIBLE. He was so kind, patient and had great eyes to help us spot the wildlife! We saw sea turtles, lemon sharks, sting rays, barracudas, jellyfish, conch’s, iguanas and more! I highly recommend going first thing in the morning (7a tour) you have the whole mangrove to yourself to enjoy. Thank you again Edwin, we had an unforgettable time!!!

      Fantastic Tour!!
We booked the 3 hour tour and did not regret one second of it. Our guide Marcus, was very informative of the ecosystems, animals and history behind the areas we ventured and saw. He was very patient for other kayakers that took a bit more time to catch up to the group and helped anyone that needed assistance. We saw a stingray, turtles, lemon sharks, jellyfish, conch and of course the rock island iguanas! Highly recommend this tour with Clear Bottom Adventures!

      Kayaking in Turks and Caicos
This adventure was awesome! They picked us up at our hotel and the driver was super nice. Our guide, Marcus, was incredibly knowledgeable about all the biology in Turks and Caicos. We learned so much! Marcus was also funny. The adventure was so enjoyable. The kayaking was not taxing at all. It was at a leisurely pace and it was so nice to be towed out to where we would be kayaking around. We never got tired.

      Nothing special
Not the best tour you can go on. It is more of a kyack adventure. You will see a few turtles and fish but nothing spectacular. It really was not worth the money,

Well organized and safe. Pleasant experience. You can use your cell phone and they provide water proof bags but you barely get wet. TED has great enthusiasm

      Fun Tour!
Our guide Ted was awesome. We were two families, with tweens and teens and everyone had a blast. In fact one of the kids said this was his favorite excursion because of Ted! They were organized and so kind. Even though it was a windy day, the mangroves are very calm. Highly recommend!

      Best kayak adventure
We really enjoyed our tour with Nic. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife. We saw iguanas, lemon sharks, a jelly fish and learned about the man groves. Definitely take a tour with clear bottom adventure and ask for Nic.

Great way to spend a morning and see some amazing wildlife
Great opportunity to see some beautiful wildlife and enjoy the crystal clear water and picturesque setting of the mangroves and Cay. Chose the morning session which I think worked better for temperature but also was less busy and chaotic than the afternoon groups. The lizard island was slightly overrated but did give us the opportunity to walk and swim the area so was still a nice change in scenery during the tour. Definitely good photo ops so bring your camera/phone and use the dry bags they provide. Highly recommend this low-key and thoroughly enjoyable excursion!

      Turquoise’s water experience
Great outing to learn more about the island’s flora and marine life. Marcus was a great guide trying to find fish, turtles and other native species for us to see. The mangroves are beautiful and the blue turquoise water pristine. Note: the two hour experience is door to door, not on the water.

      Great afternoon excursion
We did a 2 hour mangrove tour. Had a great time. saw more turtles than we could count, lemon shark and much more. Our guide Nick was very knowledgeable about the eco system and was very good at explaining all of what we were seeing. Highly recommend the tour.

      Good Experience
It was a worthwhile experience. Enjoyed seeing the iguanas and many turtles especially. Saw a couple of small Lemon sharks, a few birds, tiny jelly fish, and conch, no fish. Marcus was a considerate and helpful guide. It was quite a long pull to the mangroves through the marina but seemed much shorter coming back. The kayaks are hitched to a small boat in a line and pulled until you get to the area where you start kayaking and sightseeing, because it would be too far to kayak. Even still, we were both pretty tired afterwards, but we were glad we did it.

      We love Marcus!
Our tour guide Marcus was amazing!! He was so knowledgeable, hilarious, and could spot animals from far away. I had a great time and definitely recommend this tour. Bring bug spray and opt for the early morning slots to enjoy the peaceful mangroves.

      Fun for the whole family!
We had a great time watching turtles swim beneath and next to us! Our guide Ted was outstanding and taught us all about the local environment. We learned about hawksbill and green turtles, conch, baby lemon sharks and all about the islands. And he did it all with humor and great energy. Our 12, 12, and 10 kids loved it, as did their grandmother. Fun for all ages!

This trip is geared to children. If you are interested in something to do with lots of children, and ignorant loud mouth tourists, this is it. The trip covers only a very small limited area, but the guide will make frequent stops in order to hunt for unsuspecting sea life that he can pull out of the water, which burns up most of the time. This trip teaches children to throw bread into the pristine water in the hopes of attracting a “baby shark” or other unsuspecting sea creature so the guide can torture it.

You will be put into a group and will have to travel at the pace of the slowest person in the group. Your group will meet up and join other groups. Our guide linked us up with a bachelorette party with a giant boom box.

The clear canoe was interesting but extremely uncomfortable for the hours of sitting you have to endure. The trip through animal torture and ignorant humans is pretty unbearable and also $125 per person. Keep in mind the guide will be pretty hostile if you don’t tip him at the end.

Clear bottom Kayaking was an amazing adventure. Truly did not disappoint. Amazingly clean water, beautiful turtles swimming around you and an all round 20/10 experience. We did not book a guide or tour. We showed up and rented the kayaks. They gave us life vests and told us how to paddle in the mangrove area. You truly do not need a tour guide. If you have never been kayaking before they will give you a brief tutorial. Highly recommend booking/reserving your tour to secure a kayak/spot for you and your party. They are usually incredibly busy.

Went on the 2 hour mangrove tour with our adult kids and their sig others and it did not disappoint! Our guide MARCUS was amazing... very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend getting up (somewhat) early and making the effort to see all of the herons, sea turtles, baby sharks, baby barracudas, jelly fish etc. that call the mangrove home.

Our Clear Bottom Kayaks Mangrove 3hour Tour was fantastic! Ted our tour guide was knowledgeable about the local species of fish, sharks, iguanas & conch. We loved spotting all the sea turtles and sharks. On iguana island we saw several large beautiful iguanas & we waded in the water which was nice and shallow and a nice brake from all the rowing.
I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see some marine life above water.

We spent the morning with Mitch touring the bay and the mangroves. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us the wildlife in the area. His energy and excitement was contagious. First he took us to where he knew we would encounter sea turtles and next we paddled among the mangroves. There we saw lemon sharks and conch. Mitch’s knowledge of the life cycle of a conch was impressive. He related how important the conch is to the local diet and at times the economy of TCI.

Tour started late because they were waiting for others to arrive. Then we were put into another group. Guide was so soft spoken we heard NOTHING. Thankfully a guide from another company let us listen to learn something about conch. And then back after only 1.5 hours…We would have been better off just kayaking on our own.

The staff were the most kind, helpful and friendly we’ve met in our week in Turks and Caicos. They really did everything they could to ensure we had a good time. Since we’re a family with three young kids and the kayaks fit two people each, they had a guide take a kayak with one of our kids. And another guide attached their stand-up paddle board to one of our other kayaks to help tow that kayak through a windy and wavy passage.

What an incredible experience. For the first and last five minutes, you have to paddle hard to get across the boat channel, but other than that, it's a nice relaxing slow pace. We saw baby lemon sharks, many many turtles, small fish including a puffer fish, and jellyfish. Our guide was Edwin, very knowledgeable.

Of the 3 or 4 companies at the beach, Clear Bottom Adventures had the nicest kayaks. They were still very clear bottoms, while the other companies were obviously a little older, and therefore, less clear with scratches and scuffs.

    Highly highly recommend.

My boyfriend and my younger sister and her friend went on this tour and had and AMAZING time. We got to see sharks, turtles, jellyfish and so much more. Our tour guides Ted and Corvell were so informative and helpful with out large group and made sure we all felt safe and involved. The taxi experience was amazing as well, the driver Becky informed us a lot about some of the culture and buildings/houses along our way. 100% recommend.
