Very nice long, sandy, shallow beach with plenty of people there enjoying it. Has nice facilities - restrooms, showers, food, drinks, shade, chairs, etc. Very easy to get a taxi to and from.

Columbus, Mississippi, United States16 contributions17 helpful votesA very pretty beach with clear, calm water, but I was surprised at how small it was. That being said, it was not too crowded the day we went because it wasn’t a cruise boat day. My advice would be to plan accordingly.

Loved swimming at this beautiful beach. You can go out quite a distance and it will only be chest deep and the waters are very calm. The tour also included seeing some sights on the way. I definitely recommend this if you love going to the beach.
