- P7982YJalexl0 contributionsTerrible Car ServiceThis is the worst car service I have ever had to deal with in my life. They were more than an hour late to pick us up from the airport (and left multiple families waiting and stranded - saw multiple groups give up and take taxis instead), and had a car waiting at the wrong location for our hotel pickup, which made us an hour late to the airport. This is insane for a service that you book in advance and call the day before to confirm your pickup details. I would sooner walk into a random car than use this service again - an absolute disaster. I would especially avoid this service if you are traveling with family and kids - you will be left stranded.Written February 20, 2024
- 999karaf0 contributionsYour word is your bond, unless you are BETI had a VIP client-- a NFL player taking his girlfriend on a quick vacation before he wet back to work at training camp-- whom I organized an airport pickup in advance through BET for a Friday evening arrival flight at NAS Airport to The Reef Atlantis ( excellent hotel and staff) . After flying internationally and going through customs, my client's driver & prearranged car was given to another set of guests and my client had to wait at the airport 25 additional minutes in order for BET to set up another driver for them. Obviously, client and his girlfriend were not thrilled so I asked for a complete refund for the arrival & departure transfer as they were booked as a package. I was told in writing " The compensation will be completed as requested. " and clients would receive a refund in 8 biz days. I shared this with my client who was satisfied with outcome. Then, later, BET operations manager, Cindy Francis emailed me saying the email I received was incorrect and not only would my client not receive the refund promised in writing, but only 50% of a refund for his arrival transfer as he still took the secondary transfer he waited 25 minutes for Friday evening after his first vehicle was given away( like he had a choice if he wanted to depart the airport). Moreover, the only way he would receive the previously promised refund for his return transfer was if he cancelled it in full. I will never use and cannot recommend this company to anyone solely based on their lack of integrity promising a full refund and the taking it back AFTER it was told to the client. I am now having to pay my client back for the refund promised out of my own pocket for BET'S mistake and broken promise to refund. I could never run my business like this. - chrisdall420 contributionsScam with no accountability for 40 min late pickupWe booked them through Atlantis. Private towncar supposed to pick us up at 2pm, it showed up at 2:40. When we called at 2:15, they lied about how close the driver was. When I told them to cancel and give me a refund, they called a different driver at a different resort at 2:34pm and sent him to pick us up. Likely to miss our flight because of them. If they hadn’t lied, we could have gotten a taxi and gone.Written May 20, 2023

- tonyjG4772ZJ0 contributionsProtect your credit card!!!!It’s understandable that when traveling abroad you won’t always get the treatment you are use to at your place of origin. Some practices in business should be standard. My first impression of Bahamas Experience Tours was how unprofessional the representative was. The contact desk was located inside a RIU resort lobby. I walked in to another group booking a tour where the representative was casually reading out loud the consumers credit card info to someone over the phone. There was a credit card reader on the desk so why she would read a person’s card number out loud in a busy room full of people that could end in fraudulent use remains questionable. When my turn came around, the lady was rude and short in speech, without any flyers displaying the tour that she verbally described. She took my card, and proceeded to read the card to some person over the phone. Moments later while still on the phone she asked for my card again claiming the patent did not go through. I immediately checked my card online and found I had been charged twice. I confronted the lady while showing her the two transactions posted against my card. For some reason she seems to now fumble with her phone looking for the number to call the person back who she read the credit card info to. She then continued to seemingly text some one repeatedly. The person finally comes on the phone and is evasive in stating he made an error in charging the card. I ask for a refund and was told it would take 24 hours to request a refund (this was Wednesday). Then the refund would be visible in my card until the following week, where conveniently for them I would be back in the states. I checked back several times Thursday only to get the same song and dance evasive conversation. The gentleman over the phone claims that now the refund transaction keeps failing and won’t go through. When asked for a managed, he claims the manager is conveniently gone for the day. Deal with this company at your own risk, and for sure be wary of using your credit card with them……..Written February 17, 2023
- Ethel K0 contributionsDon't do it!!Our guide asked us why we booked the tour as everything was closed. We went to the tour when the company told us to go. The tour guide was horrible and literally only told us about places that I think he must have frequented himself - drivers license places, hospitals old and new - the court houses. The stop at the distillery & Atlantis were the only things worth it. Furthermore when we asked for a refund it was declined. Check out the video where the guide tells us everything was closed in confusion as to why we picked the tour!Written September 13, 2022

Paid $318 gratuity for round trip ground transportation for 6 adults 2 babies from airport to Atlantis and was told I would have a Sprinter van that accommodates 10-12 ppl. Upon arrival we had a Mercedes Sprinter van and everything was perfect. For ride back to airport yesterday @ 6:30 am, driver showed up with a Ford Econovan with bench seats for 2 babies, 2 car seats, 2 strollers and lots of luggage. The vehicle provided was inadequate and unacceptable but at 6:30 am you just go with it. I called Bahamas Experience today and spoke with Mgr. Cindy Joseph, to express my extreme disappointment and ask for partial refund and she refused. I could have had Atlantis bellman whistle for this type of vehicle and paid $65 to go to airport. Do Not Use Bahamas Experience for ground transportation!!Written August 16, 2022
- Stephenopolous0 contributionsMeet and Greet ScamWe booked the VIP Fast Track with Bahamas Experience Tours for a recent trip in April 2022. This service cost $212. We booked through Expedia. We received vouchers and directions on what to do after we got off the airplane. There was supposed to be someone waiting for us with our name as we got off there airplane. There was nobody there. We continued on to the baggage claim thinking that we might see someone along the way. We looked around, asked around and even called the office but there was no answer. We ended up not receiving the service that we paid for. When we got back from vacation, I requested a refund from Expedia but was denied. I also tried to go through Paypal for the refund but that was also denied. Their response was that we got denied because we did receive the service!!! Moral of the story, just because you book through Expedia and use Paypal, don't expect them to back you up!!Written May 12, 2022
- Getaway4398810 contributionsWe had a great time here!!We decided to extend our trip on your beautiful island. We dealt with a true gentleman, his name was Latrell. He acted as our representative with our airline to change our flight and provide transportation to the airport after we changed hotels. He was courteous, polite understanding, kind and extremely patient in helping us. He was tech savvy which as older adults we are not and we didn't have data on our phones but just wifi. He was super helpful and went above and beyond to make our extended stay more pleasant. We truly appreciated his kind and professional manner. I will be letting Air Canada know how pleased we were with this service. This kind of assistance is what makes travel even more pleasant!!Written February 18, 2022

My mother paid for 10 of us to get a private shuttle round trip. 4 of us in my family and 6 of us in my sister's family. When we arrived at the airport the woman from the shuttle company would not let my sister's family on. She had record of the 4 of us in my family (and knew we were all family) but we were unsure what name my mother had put the 6 of them under. We explained to the woman she had paid for 10 of us to board the shuttle. We had no cell service or mobile data to call my mother or look up the reservation. The company had never sent us vouchers. My sister ended up having to take a taxi to the resort. We contacting the company for a partial refund and they said no. They said we should have said we were a family of 10 under my name. We had told the woman at the airport it was a total of 10 of us. She knew we were sisters. Absolutely terrible. Find a different service.Written February 2, 2020

Our driver was very informative telling us all about thr bahamas and pointing out each sight the entire trip from the airport to our hotel on Paradise Island. I inadvertently entered the incorrect date of arrival at the airport, but they had my back and got me straight. Then for the return trip, I got bumped off of my flight and needed to change my drop off to the cruise port instead of the airport. However, I couldn't reach anyone via phone to change the request, so I left a voice mail and followed up with an email. When I awoke the next morning, there was an email stating they got my request and would accommodate it (it was a weight off my mind as we were due to leave several hours later). - jcode80 contributionsMediocre Tour Through NassauWe booked the tour as a shore excursion from our cruise. On a previous cruise years ago, we visited Nassau and spent most of the day at Blue Lagoon, with a short walk through town. This time, we decided to book this tour in the hopes of seeing more of the area. The group gathered at the dock and took a short walk to the bus. They seemed unorganized, but our bus arrived after a short wait. The bus was comfortable enough. Our guide, Mr. Kendal Brown was a nice, easy going guy who knew a lot about the area, including the history. He had a lot to share. We were fortunate to sit in the front row. I doubt the people in the back could hear well, as there was no sound system. Stops included a rum cake shop, Atlantis Resort, Fort Fincastle, the Queens Staircase, and John Watling's Rum Distillery. The rum cake shop was tiny, but offered good samples. Atlantis was just a tease, as we didn't have access to the resort. We just drove past, and stopped for a couple photos. Fort Fincastle was a traffic nightmare, as every tour van on the island seemed to be there parked on the one-lane road. The Queens Staircase and the Rum Distillery were the best parts of the tour. The tour was advertised as a 3 hour, 45 minute trip. However, Mr. Brown decided to offer a one-hour stop at a local restaurant at the end. While some of the group ate, we asked him to take us back to the port, which he agreed. It was nice to see all parts of the island, but didn't meet all of our expectations. Not a bad tour, but I assume there are better out there.Written December 19, 2019

My tour guide Lloyd Smith was awesome! Would highly recommend this tour! I toured a rum cake factory, chocolate factory and the Queen's Staircase.
