          Super Fun
So Much Fun! Wish it was in English only because it was hard to follow the entertainment story. They did try to do both, but it was hard for me to pick up what it was about. The staff was amazing... Funny.... and so accommodating! Unfortunately, it was raining at time that we left but that did not stop anyone from entertaining us or serving us. they tarped the ship in minutes of the rain. The dinner was amazing, cooked perfectly. Lobster was HUGE! Drinks a plenty! Keep in Mind this is not for someone who has a hard time doing stairs as the dinner room is down a steep Set of stairs to the Bow of the boat. (which had A/C) so comfortable. Music was awesome as well! NOT For KIDS! Taxis were available right outside door if transportation is needed.

Horrible, don't waste your time, disappointed
I booked over a month ago this Cruise with this company. Everything was ok until the day before after I got Voucher by email and they said my trip day wasn't on they system, got error. And they want put me to next day trip. I said no Next day we already got other plans. The customer service only said in this case I will refund you. I was very disappointed with this company. If you doesn't want get disappointed like me, look for other companies to book. II booked other company Vallarta Adventure, great, 100%

          AMAZING DAY TOUR
Vallatra Tours was awesome. Very fascinating history for this tiny town in the mountains. Gives a deep dive into the spanish/Mexican beginnings. Silver mines - Tequila farm - Coffee farm - outstanding lunch provided and a tour guide that will make you dizzy with mucho information. DO IT!!!

          Read the details!!
I really would. specify that it was 2.5+ hours each way to the island AND the open bar was only on the way back! The announcer also switched back and forth between spanish and english midsentance making it very hard to hear. The boat also somehow caught on fire and they were bucketing water into the engine which was inconveniently right by the stairs. All in all a cool experience but a bit sketchy! We did have a great time, just a few missing details! The photos were amazing and cheap!

          THANK YOU HECTOR!!
It was a such great experience. Hector was awesome, and he helped us to navigate around from horseback riding, to zip lining, and the ATV’s. Hector was very nice, respectful, and just showed us that he cared. He was very personable, and he really made our day. The driver on the other hand was very awkward and weird. He was bald, and he said his name was Mr Clean, and he was very aggressive. He tried to ask me to trade or sell my Under Armor hat, and when I declined, he was very mean, aggressive, and showed us that he was mad. Very unprofessional! Hector made this review have five stars. ASK FOR HECTOR, STAY AWAY FROM MR. CLEAN!

          Fraudulent Listing
We booked the tour and planned for snorkeling at Animas, kayaking at Los Arcos, & hiking to a waterfall at Quimixto. We had 2 adults and 3 children. I heard from someone that this is a scam to get people stuck at a beach for the day to try and sale you other experiences like parasailing. I verified that we were indeed going to all 3 ports and I would get to snorkel, Kayak, and hike to the waterfall. I was told yes by the person that checked us in to the tour. However, once the boat departed it was announced that you had to choose between Animas and Quimixto. I complained that we booked all 3 but they did not care. The listing said that the groups were limited to 30. However we counted more than 60 before we stopped counting. We did not include crew in our count. Because there were so many guests trying to snorkel it took a very long time for us in the back of the line to get in the water so we only got to snorkel for a very short time. We were aggressively pushed into choosing kayaking instead of Quimixto. I inquired about the kayacks and kept being told they were being brought out. They had several other activities available for an extra fee. Several people purchased drinks from the bar, went parasailing, and went out on a banana raft. After 2 hours I insisted they get the kayaks. They brought out 2 with no life jackets. I asked for life jackets and after a long wait they brought out 2 very old life jackets, one with only a rope to tie it around your waist. I felt completely scammed after this tour.

          Unhappy dissatisfied
Did not make the show. Our email stated 730 and we arrived at 645. Then they preceded to tell us we where an hour late even after I showed them they email. So unhappy and disappointed. They did not show an ounce of concern or compassion

          Fun, but still iffy
This tour was beautiful and the crew was awesome, but in many points felt as through it is used as an excuse to up sale. Before even entering or being allowed to see the boat a man came and gave us a debriefing of the excursion. He also told us of all the things that were absolutely “essential” for the trip. He then pointed us toward the store to purchase these “essential” items. Don’t be fooled, excepting the sun screen, which we had already brought, I found nothing in his list to be essential. Once upon the boat you get informed that the only way to get to the secret beach is to pay an extra $50 per person. To go on a little boat ride to see the entrance of the secret beach is an extra $12 per person.

          Worth every penny!
This triple combo was so much fun! The website said the activities were 3 hours 10 min. We were picked up around 9 am and dropped off around 430pm it ruined my plans for the remainder of the day and I didn’t have reception out there to call and let my other activities know. so that’s my only concern. It was a nice time, they fed us as well. They just need to communicate the time properly

          READ PLEASE
Make sure you exchanges your dollars in a bank prior to the excursion, why? (unless is a just two of you is not big deal) Port fees are paid in MEX pesos and they don't take credit cards and they will take dollar at rate of 15.00 for 1 USD at he port. The inclusive meals on board are good but the rations are really small. Open bar on the boat begins after the first event which is snorkel (open bar wills stay open until the end the event, so will get your drink on for sure). They will offer you two options, stay at Animas or go to Quimixto. We pick Quimixto in which we paid 90 dollars for 5 horses to take us to the mountain (is a 30 to 45 minutes walk, no big deal) at the waterfall they wont take credit card and get ready to paid tourist prices. The waterfall and view are really nice but if i was you just wait to the ride back to Animas for your free lunch. Lunch a Animas is good as well but again the rations is for a 9 year old. We bought 5 bottles of waters (12oz) for 12 dollars and again they don't take credit cards. So, hopefully my experiences help others to prepare others for this trip.

          Absolutely Amazing!!!!
Definitely 100% worth every penny!! This is the second time we have done the Adventure tour and it is AMAZING! It includes a boat ride, mule ride, bunch of zip lines, roller coaster zip line, slides, rapelling, on and on... The team is incredible! Safety and fun are of their utmost concern. You will never feel like you are in danger due to all the due diligence the team provides. I took my 11 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it. Fyi, do not go if you have a phobia about heights, etc.. (a woman on our group said she was told you can skip events, that is a firm NO) You can’t skip anything on the course since it is all part of the adventure and each event leads you the next. First event is zipline over 400 yards of Jungle. You would be waiting a long time if you skip.... 1000% recommend! ps. take cash so you can tip tour guides, and boat captain

The best outdoor adventure I’ve ever had
Edgar, Victor, Daniel, Messi, Josh, and Artur did an amazing job helping me come out of my fears. I was able to zip line, rappel a waterfall, zip line upside down, and so many other things… things I thought I’d never do. It felt safe, and the staff did an amazing job assuring me that I wasn’t going to die. Lol. I’ll definitely be doing this again !!!

We were given this tour as a bonus perk from the resort. The guide picked us up at the resort and went to several other resorts to gather the other people. Three people failed to be there on time, so we had to go back to the Riu twice and the Occidental once more. It took over 90 minutes to get to the first viewing place.
The tour consists of a brief stop near the Malecon, a quick walk through the Plaza, and a prolonged stop at a store selling silver. The tequila stop was a very small distillery in a rundown area of PV. The products for sale were extremely expensive ($60-$105 US) and not special. The final stop of the day was lunch at restaurant on the way to Mismaloya, a 45 minute drive from PV. The food was mediocre and very overpriced, a platter for two of tortillas, chicken, pico de gaio, nachos, and avacado was $63 US. There was no other place to eat. Bottled water was $4 US.
Thankfully for us, the tour was free. For the other guests, this would have been an expensive, and not very good trip.

Tour misrepresented details of tour. We were forces into local shops that had cut a Rev share deal with the tour. Lots of walking in extreme heat, easily 10k steps. Half of the tour was forcing us to walk backstreets to to go Pre-arranges shop. My reservation was changed to a different time without contacting me to approve the time change. I then had to call the tour agent when the transport didn’t have my name on itinerary. The day was ruined by treating the tour like a gift shop exit at Disney World.

The Tequila Distillery was amazing and had lots of fun. You unfortunately can’t just do the distillery

Great way to see the city and countryside! Our tour guide's name (slipping my mind at the moment) was very knowledgeable and personable, though he had a great line... "you make do with what you got".

The tour itself was quite spectacular. Good way to see downtown Puerto Vallarta, the coastal highway, and the countryside to the south. Lunch was great at the tequila ranch. I could have done without the obvious marketing towards some businesses (it has a lengthy jewelry store stop and multiple vendor stops), but overall pleasant and convenient.

Right before our tour we received an e-mail from the company requiring us to download a boarding pass. We had printed out the tour ticks previously. We don't have e-mail on our phones so we had to spend an anxious, unnecessary hour at the hotels tech center trying to hook up one of their printers to our computer so we could print this out. No other tour company in Puerto Vallarta has ever required this of us. Most don't even ask for our printed tickets but usually have a clipboard with participants names on it, and just ask us our names. This experience soured the trip for us. Jay Parente

I definitely got my money’s worth from this city and tequila tour. I was super impressed by the customer service the tour guides and driver had making sure each guest experience was pleasant. Sorry, I forgot their names (wish I had written to give each of them the recognition they deserve). I highly recommend this tour to experience what Puerto Vallarta has to offer and to learn a bit of history. Book this tour while planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta, you won’t be disappointed!!!

It was alright. The coffee along the mountain side was my ultimate favourite part of the whole thing my friend loved the tequila part of it all. I wish I had bought some of the coffee that was offered. I was disappointed alcohol was given without food for no cost and better selection as some people don’t prefer sea food! Just a thought!
