Awesome way to experience Isla Mujeres!
Booked this trip wanting to check out Isla Mujeres and were not disappointed. Upon checkin were offered the experience of upgrading to the VIP trip. So glad we decided to do it. Snorkeling the reef was fantastic, ride to the island was a drink filled great time, met some awesome people. It was nice to be taken to the main areas of the island via boat and not having to walk everywhere. Lunch was awesome and the ride back was very enjoyable. Staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Provided an awesome memorable experience.

        Overall good day
The staff were great. A little pushy with the booze though. Unfortunately the snorkeling was cancelled due to winds , the free meal I didn't care for but others thought it was good. The island was nice lots of shops and restaurants. Perfect white sandy beach and thr water was Crystal clear. Was misled on how long the trip would be so by the time we got back to our resort it was 9pm and rushed to grab dinner as we were starving . Overall it was good. Just wasn't prepared due to what was said.

Great day sailing, snorkeling and sunning!
Great day from beginning to end. Transportation was on time and efficient. Francisco met us at the van and guided us thru check in. Jonathan skippered us well, Miguel was always around to help! Snorkeling was great in a small group (8). We swam in crystal clear waters, enjoyed a break in town of Isla Mujeres. Highly recommend Cancún Sailing! Note: we had 2 bilingual people in our party which helped communication, but could have managed just fine without them!

Overall would not recommend. Shuttle pick up was on time from hotel. When arriving at marina, over and hour wait until Sailing time, you are standing in packed waiting area until they call your boat name. Snorkeling requires life jacket and you snorkel with large group. Time in the water very short. Boat was clean, staff and service on the boat was excellent. This is not the trip for you if you are an experienced snorkeler. Beach club was disappointing, only 28 chairs and a few umbrellas for hundreds of people. All groups end up at the same club. Food was very sub par, not able to accommodate allergy. We have been to several beach clubs in Mexico, this is the first time not provided a chair, and the worst food. Island is very busy, fun to walk around, you can rent golf cart. Beach is packed. Our kids enjoyed the boat ride and seeing a different part of Mexico, but for the cost… $556 usd for a family of 4, it’s disappointing.

        Such an amazing day
We had a wonderful day sailing with Cancun Sailing on March 12,2024. From the reservation agent, Sofia, to the check-in agents, to the wonderful crew, everything was amazing. We booked a private boat as we had a group of 38 people. The snorkeling was a good time, and from there the party began. The drinks were flowing all day, the food that we ordered on board was great, we were allowed to play our own music through their BT system, and the crew was awesome. Isla Mujeres was a lot of fun also. I highly recommend this company for your Cancun excursions.

The boat was great and the trip and the
food but the only thing is when you get to la isla mujer they send you to a store to get a wristband so you can enter back to the catamaran, they recommend this store that they said they are honest and give you good price it all lies they run you off please don’t go there. This people they charge me for a bottle 120 dollars discounted. I found the same bottle at 5avenue 49.00 dollar for two.

The crew at the Caribbean dreams is definitely the best. We went in November for the first time and we recommend it 100%, they are super friendly and respectful, Captain Leo is very responsible and dedicated to his job, he is always aware that everything goes well, the sailors chuleta, Danny and Romel are very helpful and friendly, you feel comfortable from beginning to end of your trip. Includes lunch in a private restaurant, drinks on board (an open bar), snorkeling and a trip to Isla Mujeres where you can relax and have a free time. The boat is very clean and in good condition. I decided to come back to Cancun again in January and I asked for this boat again and without a doubt we had an impeccable service again, same people same quality of service. The best in cancun.

The company outsources pick up and drop offs to and from the hotel to the Marine where your catamaran awaits. Upon arrival it’s a little wait for you to board and everything is an “up sale” they offered a “private” catamaran for an additional $500 for 4 people, we declined. The one we booked was great initially they offer soft drinks and juice and once at sea they have the alcohol on rotation. Once we arrived at the under water museum it was pretty cool the tour guide swims you out and gives good instructions on what to do while in the water, after some swimming we jump back onto the catamaran and set sail to Islas. Once on Islas you get about 2.5 hrs of recreational time, buffet is mediocre. You can rent golf carts and tour the island. Coming back We left our drone and iPhone in the vehicle that took us back to the hotel initially it was a back and forth with the company stating that they outsourced and had nothing to do with the transportation aspect to which I was extremely upset and then the transportation company would state I had to contact the catamaran company all in all I did get my gadgets back thanks to Irma Hernandez at reservations she truly helped me on her day off.

4 of us rented a private 5 hour-open bar snorkeling trip Catamaran (OH LALA) and it was the highlight of the trip. Our guide (Alexiz) met us at our taxi and took us to the boat and we were sailing within 10 minutes - super quick customer service.

We booked through Jose via WhatsApp and it was much easier than calling/emailing. Definitely recommend working with him through text and PayPal.

The crew - Pablo (capitan), Alexiz, Nelson and Ever were super down to earth, a ton of fun and also very professional. They kept the drinks flowing and took us wherever we wanted to go.

Alexiz did the snorkeling with us and showed us some awesome things we never would have figured out on our own.

HIGHLY recommend doing the private as your able to move around the boat much easier, can control your own music and get to decide where you want to go (we just snorkeled and sailed around all day). Spend the extra money, you won't regret it.

Thanks again to the crew, we will be back!

Overall the catamaran to Isla is a good deal if you pay under $50 per person as I did in booking it. The snorkeling is in a deep are and choppy with not much visibility. The boat ride, island trip and garbage lunch worth the $50 each. Once on site at the marina office I had the upgrade talk and since it was chilly out and the pictures showed a seating area inside I upgraded. It was $100 for my wife and myself. The "premium" bar on the boat had three bottles of not top shelf liquors. The contential breakfast had one blueberry and other fruits. The "gourmet" lunch on isla was cold and flavorless. The liquor offer there was well drinks, no premium. There was only lemon mix and orange juice for mixers. My advise, find the trip for $43, pay the $13 marina tax and do not upgrade.

Our group (9 familes and 39 of us) booked a private catamaran once we arrived at Cancun. However, we all paid the $69/pp cost. The only thing that was a bit odd, is that it was the same cost for the 8 year old as it was for the 21+ adults. It would have been nice to have a "private boat rental fee" or a break between adults and kids.

The experience we had was amazing and the crew was extremely attentive. We had all but 8 of us snorkel and they handled our group (ages 8-49) without any hiccups. The sailing was beautiful and the drinks never stopped flowing. I was thankful we waiting until we arrived to ensure we chose a day with nice weather.

Special shout out to Paco, who was our captain. He made sure everyone had a great time! He was amazing!

Hi Jaima! We're happy to know that you had such a great time with us! On the other hand, we'd like to know: how did you book your experience? When booking a private charter with us, the price is per boat, the only thing per person would be the dock and reef taxes (which is the same for kids over 5 years and adults). Perhaps because there were different families, we split the total cost per person so that it would be easier for everyone to pay. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your comments and for choosing to sail with us. We'll be glad to have you back aboard! Regards!

Let me say that Mexican tourism is taking good care of new regulations with the pandemic. Boat was on schedule and clean. Snorkeling was below average but if it's your first time, it could be enjoyable. Crew looked a little bit on the edge, specially when one of the motors broke in the middle of a squall. Plenty of local drinks and cheep alcohol. Included buffet is not recommend as the quality of food was poor and tasteless. Great opportunity to get out and see Isla mujeres for a day. There is a on board photographer that takes really good pictures but it will knock between $80 to $100 of your travel budget but remember of 'cost opportunity.' You get what you pay for but your brain controls your mindset. Be happy and enjoy.

This was a terrible experience. First off, the trip is really boring and you don't get to see the underwater museum because in the "snorkeling" everyone was given a mask and a flotation device somewhere between a life vest and one of those inflatable rings you put a 1.5 year old in at the pool and get to try not to drown for a while before swimming back to the boat. To note, I would say that I am a pretty good swimmer and comfortable in the ocean as I have been surfing for 4 years. If you pay for the golf cart ride (first up sell) they take you half way around Isla Mujeres to stop for 10 minutes to take pictures while the guide (Cassandra is what he goes by) grabs a statues boobs, he says because it means fertility, then you drive the rest of the way around the island and you're done. After that you hop on the boat to go to the buffet which is the most bland food you could ever imagine eating and then leave 30 minutes later to go back to Cancun. This the part of the trip when they try to get everyone to pay for the pictures they take (all of them you could do better with your phone except the ones they take in the water). Alcohol served is Tecate and tequila at the end.

Dear, Thank you for letting us know your opinion. We are very sorry to read that this experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to inform you that the vendors on the beaches and the golf cart service in Isla Mujeres are not part of the services Cancun Sailing offers. We want to work harder to reinforce our points of sale information and to provide quality service and improve the experiences we offer to all our visitors.

They were 25 min late picking us up from hotel. Once we got to the dock, we waited another 90 min to get on the boat. To put this in perspective, they told us to be in our hotel lobby at 10:30am and we didn’t get on the boat until after 1pm…we wasted half a day of our vacation waiting on them. Once we got on the boat, it was overcrowded with very loud music. The snorkeling was almost nonexistent. We had to all get in the water as a group with life vests on and follow the guide around for 20 minutes. Another guide from the same charter company was right next to us with a large group. With that many people packed together, we had flippers and bodies all around us…very difficult to enjoy the experience. The lunch offered on Isla Mujeres was poor quality…canned cheese for nachos, hot dogs, tacos that just didn’t taste good. By then we were done with this excursion and opted to eat on our own at a great restaurant on Isla Mujeres called Lola Valentina and we paid our own way back to Cancun via the ferry.

My partner and I did the full day tour with snorkelling to Isla Mujeres on the Sea Paradise II Catamaran.

The trip was extremely poor. We were packed on the catamaran (approximately 60 people) and taken to a ‘reef’ for snorkelling. There were about 20 other boats there, all with hoards of people in the water. You could only ‘snorkel’ by following a guide from the boat so there were just hundreds of people in the water bumping in to each other and trying to keep up. The reef is barely alive (presumably due to number of boats and tourists) and there is very few fish. Most stressful experience I have ever seen called snorkelling

We were then taken to the lunch /buffet on Isla Mujeres which was also disappointing. Given how much you are paying for the trip, you get very little value for money. We ended up going to a restaurant round the corner and paid for a separate meal

To be fair to the crew, they were nice and worked hard to try to keep people happy, but ultimately the whole set up of the tour is designed to churn through huge numbers of people at a high fee with a bare minimum offering. We have done these sorts of trips all over the world, and this was by far the poorest quality (and most expensive).
