Overview

Gain access to lesser-known snorkeling sites on a reef and shipwreck snorkel tour from Cancun. Zip between three snorkel spots with ease on a motorboat; receive all equipment as part of the tour; and relish the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off in Cancun. A small group limited to 10 means you’ll receive personalized attention from a guide, perfect for everyone from first-time snorkelers to more accomplished swimmers.

What to Expect

Your tour begins with convenient hotel pickup at the departure time selected at checkout. On arrival at the marina, you’ll receive a safety briefing and board a motorized boat destined for three top snorkel spots. An optional snorkel lesson is designed to make beginners feel comfortable in the water with their equipment before setting off.

There’s no guessing about the best snorkeling spots on a guided tour. You’ll be motored to your first stop, a coral reef teeming with tropical fish and marine life. Then, you’ll continue to a patch of seagrass to look out for turtles, lobsters, crabs, and stingrays.

The snorkel tour culminates with a stop at a shipwreck: Marvel at the underwater ruins and note the contrast of colorful marine life. Your experience concludes with drop-off at your Cancun hotel.

As far as I know they do not offer any snuba at all. You do have to wear a life vest which can be inflated for people who don't swim. I hope this helps.

If I remember correct from the time the boat leaves the dock it was about 4 hours. I was too busy enjoying the ocean to look closely at the time. Hope this helps.

They did not say anything about special sunblock. My wife used just her regular sunscreen and it worked out ok. It did not seem like there was any coral in danger as we did not see that much compared to other coral dives we... More
