- 136wendyz00Our First eBike Tour! What a great tour! We had never ridden ebikes before and had so much fun! We were given excellent instruction by our guide Owen. The path to Sundance was paved and smooth, and the hike was beautiful and not too difficult. Owen was full of fun information about Banff and the forest, he was so personable and knowledgeable. It rained during our tour, but there were rain ponchos and gloves packed for us on the bike. White Mtn Adventures is an excellent choice for a tour!
- 136wendyz00Incredible Views and Learning Experience! Our Lake Louise/ Moraine Lake tour with May was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The hike description says Easy, but it can be quite challenging in spots, fortunately she had provided us with walking sticks. Our tour was quite small, only 5 and the guide, and we were able to ask questions and talk to the others in the group easily. The lunch was so good! I would recommend white Mtn adventures and May any day!
- cindymJ4659RK00Must done-bike tour!Knowledgeable, and all around great guide. The tour itself was breathtaking. Learned so much. Last stop was the brewery which didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend!
- K2796ZDrebeccar00Excellent hikeOur guide, Paulo, was amazing. He was so informative, remembered everyone's name and looked after all participants no matter how slow they may have been. The scenery was stunning and the sandwich at lunchtime very tasty.
- fishnalot00A day we’ll remember! My wife and I had a wonderful experience on our visit to the Canadian Rockies with a visit to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and an 8k hike to Consolation Lakes. Our guide, May, was very knowledgeable and accommodating, even providing us with hiking poles to allow us all to navigate a rocky section of the trail. The small group (6 of us) allowed for everyone to ask questions and experience a more intimate experience. But the best were the views!
- ADreger00Best Guides in the RockiesBest guiding company in the Rockies. Dennis is amazing to work with and the guides are exceptional - Christie & Mary are amazing as well as the others we had on our program. Highly recommend if you are looking for a guided hike in the Banff/Lake Louise Area.
- ahop100A fun trip with some great scenery along the way!We booked the eBike tour and hike to Johnson Canyon. The eBikes were fun and made the ride easy. Scott was our friendly and informative guide and he made sure we had a great time. You bike from Banff to Johnson Canyon and then hike up to the first set of falls in the Canyon. A shuttle brings you back to their shop in Banff. We made frequent stops at overlooks along the way and at one picnic area for a potty stop. We did have a bit of excitement on our trip as we had to detour to the 'high' road when a large black bear was making his way up the 'low' road towards us. Scott stopped and let us all see the bear and then hurried us along so the bear could continue on his way and not have to detour around us. He showed his respect for wildlife. I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time but it made for a great memory for us! A fun time and even though you are on eBikes you actually do get some exercise. These aren't throttle bikes but rather pedal assist bikes. Still pretty easy though and I recommend trying out one of their trips.
- Cal M00Did the trip with my wife it was off the charts we had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was very attentive very knowledgFantastic trip great tour guide she did a fantastic job very knowledgeable. We even got to see a black bear will definitely come back.
- 851annettet00Unbelievable!Fabulous hike and e-bike ride in the mountains! Our guide, Owen, was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic 🤩 The views ain’t bad either 😍
- dolphin55Arlington00Highly RecommendThis was an amazing tour. I loved the combination of a hike and bike. Johnston Canyon was beautiful as well as the scenery on the bike ride portion. We stopped a few times on each for photos. Guides were great and equipment was good as well. I highly recommend this tour.
- donetab202200Wonderful Siteseeing Tour!!We went on this amazing tour today... What breathtaking sites we saw at both lakes. Owen was the perfect guide. The friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure both my husband and myself were take care of throughout the whole experience, which included an 8km hike on a beautiful trail. The weather was not as good as we had hoped but Owen had rain poncho, gloves and even walking poles. Totally prepared for it all. The snacks and sandwich lunch provided were great! Would do another tour again! Thanks for the experience.
- Venture62966800E-bikes are the best! This was our family's first e-bike experience and we all loved it! Scott was our guide. He gave clear, easy to understand instructions on operating the bikes and allowed us time to get comfortable riding before heading out to the Bow River Parkway. The ride to Johnston Canyon was amazing. We rode along the Vermillion Lakes and the parkway was filled with beautiful mountain views. Scott stopped at several scenic spots and shared lots of interesting history and facts about the area. Upon arriving at Johnston Canyon, he efficiently loaded our bikes on to the shuttle bus and then navigated us through the crowds walking up to the falls. The walk and the lower falls were both beautiful and Scott enhanced the trip with interesting facts about what we were seeing. It was very crowded but Scott was patient with everyone. We enjoyed the E-bike ride portion of the trip the most. It was a fun way to get to Johnston Canyon.
- operamusi00Pablo was the best guideThis full day of hiking was absolutely perfect because of our guide Pablo. He was so knowledgeable of the area and clearly skilled in leading these tours. It made all the difference. I would encourage anyone to use this company , and Pablo.
- Marbrardz00Great tour!My family and I took this tour and we loved it. We saw some beautiful views, and Denise our guide, was very nice and gave us some very interesting facts during the tour and the hike. We all were beginners and never used an e-bike, he patiently taught us and we really enjoyed the ride!
- V3161LSscottg00Scott Family Johnson Canyon/Banff eBike adventureWe were so impressed with the knowledge that our guide Scott had of the Johnston Canyon and general Banff area. He really made both the hike and eBike ride back a super enjoyable experience that exceeded our expectations. The transport and bikes were in excellent condition - the route and stops were perfect for both comfort and sightseeing. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend the White Moutain Adventure tours to friends and family!

Thanks Jack (Walleye) and Carson (Sunfish) for a fun and informative snowshoe tour. We took the snowshoe tour as a rest day from skiing and riding the gondola and chairlift into the high country was especially appreciated by the non-skier in our group.
Cookies and cocoa were a nice mid-tour snack.
Jack and Carson knew the area and followed up the next day with the name of a peak they didn't know.
Participants, follow the what-to-bring list, including boots and cold-weather gear. The conditions in the mountains can be much different than in downtown Banff.

Thank you for your review! Sounds like there was a fun day had by all, and glad to see some fishy code names assigned to our guides.
Yes, clients are sometimes surprised at the difference in climate between downtown Banff and the high alpine regions we snowshoe at. The gondola makes the journey into the backcountry very quick, so important to remember that Spring weather outside your hotel can still mean mid-winter conditions up high.
Happy fishing!

We spent 10 days with a wonderful group of people from all around the world. Our guide Megan absolutely made our trip. She was superb. So knowledgeable about the area, made every experience the best it could be. Spent almost everything minute laughing (when us two oldies could catch our breath !!!😁). We did snow-shoeing at Sunshine Village, ice canyon hiking , skating at Lake Louise and much more. Will definitely be back and definitely want Megan as our guide again.

My first time snowshoeing and I loved it!
My guide Kristi Beech was AMAZING she was so knowledgeable, experienced, and charismatic Kristi kept it fun enduring us to be silly and enjoy the mountains. Kristi was a lot of fun to talk with as we shared our commonalities like our love for the outdoors on the way to Sunshine Village and after snowshoeing back to Banff.
The trip excceded my expectations we went with a small group of 3 the dynamic was great! The weather was also amazing we experienced everything from the bright sunshine glistening off the snow to howling winds accompanied by snow. When the clouds clear we get an amazing 360 uninterrupted view around us it was magical!
I would definitely recommend anyone going to bring googles or sunglasses the sun will be super bring up there!
Thank you Kristi you’ve introduced me to my new winter hobby!

Our guide Jeff (JF) was great ! Passionate and knowledgeable. It was only myself , 57 yrs old and my daughter 26 yrs old on the tour. This was
my first time snow shoeing . Jeff paused enough times for me to catch my breath . He is very knowledgeable about the surrounding environment , explained the various animal tracks we saw, trees, snow formations etc etc . In addition to the physical workout. I received , I learned new things about nature thanks to Jeff

We booked the "Snowshoeing on Top of the World at Sunshine Village" on december 27th with 2 guides (Matt and Jen). It was FABULOUS.
The 2 guides were very friendly, PROFESSIONAL and passionate. They put safety first as they decided to do kind of a hybrid of a hike due to the conditions (extremely cold that day, -33 C), without altering the experience.
At first we were pretty worried because of a very bad experience we had a day prior (fell into a frozen lake at -40 C with an irresponsible guide) and also due to the extreme conditions of the day (-33 C). My mom was even more worried as she was the oldest and was afraid to slow the group down... She even thought of not doing the hike at all. When we told Jen, she immediately reassured us and especially my mom, as she told her that we would stay in group and she would never be left alone since there were 2 guides. She also never rode a chairlift before, and Jen took all the time and precautions needed to ensure that she stayed safe.
We also emailed them 2 days before and they answered pretty quickly. As we had more questions, we also emailed them the morning of the hike and they answered immediately.
As for the hike itself, the view was stunning. We even got to know a little bit about the place, and Jen and Matt were really good at answering questions we had. We could observe some animal trail and Matt had little cards to show us what the animals that made the trail looked like.
In terms of difficulty, this hike is considered "moderate to strenuous". My mom (62 y.o.) found it quite hard but enjoyed it so much as he could take her time and stop to catch her breath when she needed. I found it quite easy (26 y.o. F) but enjoyed it as well since I could run and play around.
In conclusion, I HIGHLY recommend this hike even in the winter, as it is suitable for all physical conditions and you are guaranteed to be safe at all times, and a LOT of fun ! We definitely will be booking other hikes with them again, winter or summer !!

Yes. You will be explained the basics on how he's to grip, break, roll and get up again. It is a blast. The guide will adjust to group physical condition and ability to adapt to equipment. Half our group never snowshoes before.
