Massively disappointed - Nightrise seems to be a light show for kids and the service left a lot to be desired.
I was very excited at first as I have been up this gondola multiple times and have had immense fun and fascination previously. And on this occasion I had invited my two work friends to join myself & my boyfriend to check out the ‘night rise’ experience. We got in the gondola and were almost at the top when we were halted mid air for almost 15 minutes, and then when we it started going again we were going back down!!! It was frightening to say the least plus the light was clearly broken so we were in utter darkness just hanging there. We eventually got moving again and tried to move on with our evening. Well, I have to admit, the Nightrise experience left us a little flat. There are two large screens with speeded up footage and lots of lasers. Plus three curved screens showing northern lights. None of which was visually groundbreaking or particularly informative. We then waited to see the movie and it turned out to be a 15 minute long advert for the Persuit simulator ride in Vancouver with zero dialogue or anything either entertaining or educational. We then thought we would get a bite to eat, and after waiting nearly 20 minutes to be seen by a server I went in to ask if there were any staff around, to which I was told angrily that someone would be with us in a minute!! We only wanted a quick snack but it was $45 to eat in the cafe!! We swiftly left, thinking we might salvage the evening by getting something from the gift shop, so cold and hungry and eager to leave we went to pay, only to be told by the staff member that she could not serve us and that we would have to wait for the other staff member to return who was authorised to operate the till. Finally we got back in the gondola to go home, and thankfully this one had a light as well as a working speaker! Will not be recommending or attending this ever again.

          That’s service!
No tour, Just took the Brewster bus from Calgary airport to Banff, one other person on the bus. If this had been an airline they would have cancelled and bumped us. We went to a convention in Banff and on return trip found they had chartered a Brewster bus for the group after we already bought return tickets. Contacted Brewster after returning to BC and they refunded the redundant tickets!

Sulphur Mountain Gondola Ride and Lake Minnewanka Cruise
After being picked up in Canmore, we waited nearly an hour for the actual tour bus to pick us up in Brewster's Banff depot. Once the tour began, it was excellent! The trip on the gondola up Sulphur Mountain was comfortable and gave us views we couldn't get anywhere else. Very nice historical museum at the top and more awesome views and lots of photos. After the ride down the mountain, we went to the Cascade of Time Garden in Banff - beautiful with many photo opportunities. Next we visited Bow River Falls. The boat ride on Lake Minnewanka was smooth, but a little cramped on the boat. Very scenic lake! The narrator on the boat was entertaining.

          Magical Experience
Despite cloudy, rainy weather, the Brewster Sightseeng tour from Banff to the Columbia Icefield was a magical experience with spectacular scenery. The highlights were stops at Lake Louise, Peyto Lake, the Columbia Icefield and the ``Sky Walk.'' I really liked guides Ben and Naz. They have warm, outgoing personalities and a good grasp of local knowledge. The only thing I would suggest is that they point out peaks that can be seen on the Continental Divide such as Snow Dome. It was a pleasure meeting passengers from around the world. I would highly recommend this tour. The lunch at the restaurant at the Columbia Icefield was very good, but a couple of the main dishes were too spicy for my taste.

Banff is majestic and magical. Please refer to the earlier description that I wrote above. The end of the tourist season brought out the worst in the attitude of our driver. I felt like I was being talked down to and his very repressive approach made the trip less enjoyable, the host that was our guide knew very little about the area and mostly chatted with the young women on the trip.

Definitely a must do - beautiful scenery and great guides
This was the last tour of the season and it was great. The tour was informative, interesting and full of beautiful scenery. Sophie and Colin were fantastic, they were friendly, helpful and is was great to have them as our driver and guide. Colin’s jokes were corny but hilarious at the same time. Thanks very much for a great day!

          Great day out!
We had the best day on our tour! Our driver and tour guide, Sam, were both very knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable. The lakes were beautiful and the couple of viewpoints we stopped at were stunning. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get to the falls due to an accident on the highway meaning we were stuck at Emerald lake for a few hours. We were kept informed during the delay and it didn’t ruin the day…there are worst places to be stuck! Highly recommend this tour.

          Best tour in Calgary
James was our first bus driver picking us up from the sandman hotel , he was wealth of knowledge on the way to Banff. Then getting on to our tour guides bus with Colin & Sophie, Colin was hilarious with his Dad jokes & knowledge & Sophie with her charm and kknowledge together you couldn't have asked for a better pair of tour guides we had such a great experience, we can't wait to come back in 10 years for our anniversary we hope these pair are still doing this .

Never made it no bus from Banff !
We made our reservations back in September for boat cruise.Included was going to be return trip to Banff. When trying to make reservations to get there the day before we realized that the Roam #6 was shut down. No way to get there or back. Only way to get there was going to be taxi. Estimate of 100$ round trip. Due to no cancellation policy we are out the price of 4 tickets . Learned a lesson . Don’t book this tour until you find out when Roam # 6 shuts down.

          Fantastic and Little Kid Approved
We’ve been on various guided tours across Canada and this was by far the best. The views were beautiful, the boat was comfortable and not crowded. However what made this tour perfect was Gina and Kirstie. Gina and Kirstie’s knowledge of the area, local legends and how they went above and beyond to interact with the passengers was really fantastic. We also want to note that this was an extremely family friendly activity with both Gina and Kirstie demonstrating kindness and attention to our 3 year old daughter and the other children on board. Would 100% do this tour again and recommend it to everyone.

We were hosted by Jon and Krisha from Brewster Tours who were excellent. We did the Skywalk, the Columbia Glacier, and a number of other memorable stops along the way. Jon and Krisha provided excellent commentary and provided us with a most memorable journey from Jasper to Banff on June 6th 2023.

A really enjoyable day. Friendly informative driver/guide and host. Glacier trip was great and the snow in June just added to the fun! Take layers! The skywalk was good with lots of information boards and not too busy. The views en route were amazing.
The only thing that I would say that pick up in the morning was not as smooth as the rest of the day. We waited half an hour as we didn’t know we were looking for a large Brewster bus, part of another tour onto Lake Louise and Banff. They didn’t call us out. But overall great 😊

Hi lornac871, Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your day with us. Snow in June isn't as rare as you might expect, so taking layers is a great tip! We appreciate your feedback about the morning pick-up process. We strive for efficiency and prompt departures by combining pick-ups with all tours, and we apologize that this wasn't the case for you on this occasion. We look forward to welcoming you onboard for another adventure soon. Thanks once more for sharing your experience!

We had never thought much about a motor coach tour before and originally thought of this as a bridging ride between two parts of a Rocky Mountaineer train trip but it turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. The coach trip took us from Jasper to Banff with a number of stops on the way, including the Columbia Icefields and Glacier Skywalk.
Abdullah (our driver) and Sam (our tour guide) did an excellent job of making the tour fun, entertaining and educational. They both worked hard to answer all of our questions, point out photo opportunities and take care of everyone’s needs. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone if they have a chance.

This was a well-organised tour with the comfort and enjoyment of the participants top of the list. Our driver James was an exceptional guide with lots of interesting stories, facts and some good humoured fun in the mix. The host Sam was also excellent and their morning pop up coffee stall was a bit hit!!
The scenery was out of this world and I would highly recommend both the company and this team

Unfortunately the exact trip we did isn't on TA, so I'm reviewing part of it! We did the Icefields Parkway tour from Jasper, and although the tour went further, we got off at Lake Louise. The whole experience was excellent. I'm a wheelchair user, and our driver Colin, and guide Maria, were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. It's a great itinerary, and I confess we had thought of it as a useful means to get to Lake Louise from Banff, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Canada trip.
This part of the tour, the Icefield tour was surreal and fascinating. Bring sensible shoes as you will be walking on a glacier - it's very slippery underfoot and of course it's cold! After our buffet lunch (not bad!) at the Discovery Centre and the ice explorer trip, we visited the Skywalk, and despite both suffering from vertigo, we both managed the walk. It was worth it! I thoroughly recommend Brewster.

We took this tour from Jasper to Banff. Norm our driver was a great tour guide telling us information and personal stories about the areas we drove through. The athabasca glacier was a highlight of this tour as was the walkway over the valley. We passed the most beautiful scenery possible. He said it was voted the most beautiful highway in the world
We had a box lunch included and it was very good.
        Highly recommend this tour company.

We took off from Jasper around 830 a.m., arriving finally in Banff around 830 p.m.
It was a busy satisfying day, made more relaxing and enjoyable by effusive guide Geo and capable driver Reed.
Walking on the Athasbaska Glacier was astonishing, but sad that the glacier is receding so rapidly.
We conquered the Sky Walk despite fears.
        Favourite view point Peyto Lake.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our tours with Mary L. We started with her in Jasper then had her for Banff as well, finishing in Calgary. She was extremely energetic, knowledgeable and FUN! She went above & beyond with providing treats & water for us which was on her own dime. Her bus driving/maneuvering skills were excellent! So grateful we had her for our tour guide and driver! She made our experience that much better! A true inspiration!

Had so much fun! Collin and Molly hit it out of the park. It was a crazy day due to the weather (it snowed!). Collin was funny and informative and kept us safe in the crazy conditions. Molly also kept us informed and really watch out for all of us. And Sam, our drive on the Glacial Ice Explorer… that was something else!! Loved it!
