        A Great Trip
Our tour guide, Jake, was excellent - he knew so much about the area and all that we saw. We were collected promptly and as we drove down to pick up the other members of our party we saw deer. Jake had had a report of a bear feasting on a dead deer and was able to pinpoint the area and take us. Jake was also concerned about cyclists in the area, warning them that there was a bear with its prey. We later saw coyote pups (very cute), longhorn sheep and elk. The time went too quickly and we absolutely loved the whole experience. We would highly recommend the wildlife trip.

        Good trip
Great trip. Kelli our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable about all the wildlife and their habitat. Although weather was looking bad it held out and we saw lots of animals including coyote, eagles, deer, 3 black bears and a mumma and baby moose 😍

Highly recommend! Kelli as your guide is the best!
Kelli was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable and passionate about Jasper and the wildlife, especially the bears. We saw SO much including a cinnamon black bear guarding his deer carcass, coyote and coyote pup popping out the den, elk, mule deer, mountain rams.l and more. She knew where to look and could spot an animal in the woods while driving with what I think was a sixth sense!

Interesting trip to some beautiful places
The trip was really interesting and the views were great. Sadly the tour guide gave brief talks starting them when only a few people were listening rather than waiting till everyone had gathered round. The information was not very detailed.

        Wonderful wild life experience
Last minute booking and it was wonderful! Picked up from our hotel in a comfortable small group bus and dropped off too. Brent is a knowledgeable experienced tour guide and a great driver. The bear encounter stories will definitely be retold when we get home to the UK We were able to spot white tail deer and mule deer and a confident flock of male big horn sheep. We spotted the eagle on her nest and an osprey. But the high point was seeing the grizzly close up from the safety of the bus and watching the black bear feeding on the shore line- just doing what he does naturally. So privileged to have had this experience- thank you!

A great tour with lots of wildlife sightings!
Excellent tour! Our guide, Brent, really wanted us to have a great experience (which we did). He provided us with lots of great information about the animals and Jasper and basically everything we needed to know! He really was on the lookout for lots of animals (and always driving very safely). Although he couldn't make any guarantees, he seemed to know lots of places for possible sightings. We had a great evening and saw lots of animals! Even if we hadn't seen any animals, Brent took us to lots of great places. The tour would have been worth it even without the wildlife sightings - (which were a wonderful bonus). Pickup was prompt. Thank you to Brent and Maligne Adventures!

Amazing wildlife tour, we saw so many animals!
Our evening wildlife tour was amazing! Our guide, Sam, was so friendly, funny and knowledgable about the area and wildlife in and around Jasper. We saw grizzly and black bears, elk, moose, bald eagles, deer and Sam went out of his way to make sure we saw as much as possible. Would 100% recommend this tour.

        A bit disappointed
I was a little disappointed in this tour. It’s is listed as wildlife and waterfalls. I understand that wildlife is hard to predict and we did see some but waterfalls, we saw exactly 1. Our tour guide was very friendly but was new to the job and was unable to answer some basic questions. We took the hike, the Mary Schaefer Loop, at Maligne Lake and it was rather boring. A few scenic viewpoints but try little else to see and the guide did not point out or explain anything about the vegetation etc.

        Brilliant morning wildlife tour
We had the most amazing wildlife tour with Sam. He was so knowledgeable about all of the local animals (and more!) and really determined to find them - we saw elk, sheep and 3 grizzly bears (one cub!). Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Jasper and wanting to spot wildlife and find out more about the local area. Pick up and drop off to our campground was a bonus!

        Most wonderful wildlife experience
We had the most wonderful time on the Wildlife encounters tour at 5:30pm with Sam. We saw sheep, deers, eagles, osprey, elk and the black bear! A 3 hour trip turned into 5 hours with Sam going above and beyond to find wildlife. Sam was so knowledgeable too. Thank you so much Sam, we can go home happy now that we finally saw a black bear, it really was a treat beyond words.

FANTASTIC TOUR - A 'MUST DO' ON A TRIP TO JASPER!
The highlight of our trip so far! Kelli our guide was so knowledgable about the wildlife, the environment and the history of the area, really interesting, and that was in addition to all the animals we saw! The 3 hour tour actually lasted 4.5 hours because we stopped the bus so many times, it was amazing! We saw 4 black bears, a Bald Eagle with 2 chicks in the nest, 2 Moose, an Elk, Marmots, Ground Squirrels, an Osprey, Rainbow Trout, Mule Deer, White Tailed Deer.... it was fantastic. Kelli took time to talk to us about each animal and gave us lots of time to take photos. She also had a selection of antlers and moulds of bear prints for us to look at and pose with whilst telling us all about them. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Kelli is awesome!

This tour was a great way to experience Maligne Lake, Spirit Island and see several animals along the way. We were lucky enough to spot bears, elk, big horned sheep, bald eagles, mule deer and marmots. Our driver (I think his name was Tom) was knowledgable about where the best chances to spot wildlife would be and gave us time to photograph them (safely from inside the vehicle). Due to our numerous wildlife stops, we had less time to explore Maligne Lake (a fair trade off).

While the stop at Maligne Canyon was nice, it could have been 1/2 the time and we could have explored on our own. I wish we time at Medicine Lake as well, as we were only allowed a 2 minute photo op.

Our excellent boat captains were Delilah and Shauna. They were incredibly knowledgable about the geology as well as the indigenous history. They were able to answer any questions the group had. I do wish we had more than 15 minutes to spend looking at Spirit Island, but I understand they have to keep to a schedule.

Overall, I'd recommend this tour for someone who is interested in spotting wildlife (not sure we could have done it on our own!) and for those looking to see Spirit Island, as a cruise is the only way to see it.

Kelly was our tour guide and she made the experience very informative and enjoyable.
The bus ride was comfortable while she was explaining about the surrounding environment. We saw Elk, 4 types of dears, moose and a black bear. She stopped and made sure that we see them closely and take good pictures. The Maligne lake cruse was nice and Spirit island views are breathtaking. After that she took us to the Maligne lake canyon and we did the trail together and that was nice too. She picked us from our hotel and dropped us back there at the end. We loved the whole experience!

Well worth the time, we learned a lot about the lake, the history of the area and how the first person "Curly" who settled the area. The view of Spirt Island and the "Hall of the Gods" were amazing. Our tour guide Amelia was super knowledgeable of the area and really funny. She made it really enjoyable. Jordan was the ship captain and very friendly. Our family were very happy we took the time to go see the island. Also we went in June 2021 and it was not crowded which made it really private and felt secluded in the mountains which magnifies the Beauty of the mountains.

Favorite part of the trip is we that we got to sit back and relax. Although it was raining lightly and the temperature was around 8 degrees, we enjoyed the tour, our guide was experienced, friendly and a good driver. I Highly recommend the tour for those who want to see that part of Jasper, sit back and relax.

Sam shared important information about the lake and the mountains and the native land. We would highly recommend this tour to any one. We had a wonderful tour with our guide/ driver. He was well informed about the area and the sights both from the vehicle and on the tour of the gorge and waterfall. He made sure his tour was boarded first on the boat ride and gave clear instructions as to meeting points. He also did his very best to give us the best views and photo time when we encountered elk, a cow moose and a family of bighorn sheep. He answered all our groups questions and was especially kind to a young boy.on the tour.

While the scenery was beyond beautiful, the best part if this tour was our guides. Our land guide Trevor was completely informed about the flora, fauna, geology and history of the area. Our lake guide Becca was funny and equally informative and our captain gave us a safe and fun journey out to Spirit Island and back. We would recommend this tour and these guides to everyone.

This was the highlight of our two weeks in Canada! Our guide Jamie was very very knowledgeable and he ensured we had the best possible chance of seeing wildlife. We saw two black bears, a moose and her calf and two bald eagles. The trip was well organised with collection and drop off at Whistlers Campground on schedule. Whilst we were fortunate with the weather the boat trip again was excellent with Cam & Delilah affording us spectacular views of the mountains at Lake Maligne.

Thank you for joining Maligne Adventures for the 5.5 hour Maligne Valley wildlife and waterfalls with lake cruise. Maligne Valley is defiantly a fan favourite, especially when you get to hang out with Guide Jamie. Wow what a wildlife experience! You saw all the good stuff through out the day. If you have your own vehicle save your money and skip out on this. The guide added no benefit to the trip, they were very condescending, unpleasant, and unfriendly. If you want to do the lake cruise to spirit island book it separately from this experience if able.

Nice tour overall with all the great scenery you would want. Our tour guide and driver was Kate and I was impressed with how she could drive the bus so well while keeping up an almost non-stop flow of verbal information. '

Our one criticism of the excursion was that we thought a little too much was attempted in the way of extra stops to see lakes, etc. This limited the time available for the main advertised attractions. I was really wanting to do the skywalk, but when we got there, we parked at the end of the parking lot, and we were told that we had only 20 minutes before the bus would need to leave. I looked at the walk to the end with the see through overlook, and realized that I would never be able to make it down and back in 20 minutes, as I cannot walk very fast. Had our driver not needed to save time for the two more stops she made at the end which are not even listed as stops, she could have let us have more time for one of the advertised events on this tour.
